Yea I hear they havent cared to support firestorm despite it only being a year old. A damn shame. Considering how popular battle royale is I hope they give it a legitimate shot and come out swinging next year

I care about gameplay.
And never have issues finding matches.

Nah, what happened is that the team that was working on firestorm got pulled by EA
Criterion Games was working on firestorm independently from DICE.
We Spoke To Criterion Games About Battlefield V's Firestorm Battle Royale Mode
EA removed them to work on something else. Which caused the mode to fall by the wayside

Game isn't dead. More like they are pulling an "Operation health" like siege did, stopping all content to fix bugs and shyt
Most likely, once BFV is in a good state, content will start to be released again
