Breh it cost no more than 200 million.
The hate this movie got was bullshyt
Where in the world do you get that figure?

It's not hate, it's fact. Based on the production and marketing budget, the film is barely going to turn a profit for WB at the box office. They should do well in the home market though.

How the fukk do you put the 3 of the top 5 most well known superheros in history in a movie and barely even clear Deadpool and Guardians of the fukking Galaxy.

Marvel has the highest selling book of all time and the penciler on that was Jim lee.
When Jim lee went over to DC and it never created a boom.
That was the foreshadow about where dc would rank.
Supes and batman in this Gen were defunct pisspoor draws and suffered horrific demises of the worst of all kind IN THEIR respective mags.
Imo, dc did well to right all the wrongs of the nineties mags and direction.
So, just like I wrote in my review.
Dc made a point to do justice to their past mess-ups.
To bring on a new dawn for dc as far as perception of characters and properties under their banner.

the desperation is so great, they are trying to downplay the popularity of batman now :deadrose:

exactly. i forgot who said it but The Batman coming out before this would have done BvS wonders. it would have helped address the horrible pacing of the movie but also would have connected people more with the characters and would have made the VERSUS more meaningful.

i personally think they should have just kept it as MOS2 and focused on the political aspect and they could have had a great "mature" movie, but they tried to stuff so much into the movie because they are in a rush to make money that they ended up costing themselves hundreds of millions because the final product was mediocre

They had to make this movie and how they made it, to change the negative and lack of convincability factor present and attached by negative stigma.

Another interesting point. So a horribly reviewed movie with poor WoM makes more money than a greatly reviewed movie with great WoM and some how this is a complete failure for WB:deadmanny:

WB should just look at this like a solid start we can build on but a missed opportunity:manny:

They need to look at this like the first xmen film.

Now do your googles for the marketing budget.

We can get to how theaters split box office with studios afterwards.
