Movie should cruise to a billion off name value alone. Since i finally saw the movie i've watched some spoiler reviews and even the positive reviews were like " yeah i see were you are coming from"People can spin it any way they like but the fact this movie is struggling to make it to $1 billion is absolutely insane. You realize they will have to go a second round of marketing, at an unprecedented level too, with new trailers, TV spots, billboards, etc to convince people that already saw the movie to go watch it again? Production was already 400 million, now we would be looking at close to half a billion dollars. WB would only get half of the R-rated cuts box office revenue (theaters would get the other half). At that point crossing a billion in box office would be some sort of arbitrary moral victory, not a financial one.

The blu Ray release will help I don't think they should do the re release at movies and just focus on blu ray release and put out how much extras behind the scenes and the true version is on blu ray it will sell itself

Now that's it's clear this movie will cruise past 900 million with ease folks like you are moving goalpost. Its like 40 million away from deadpool domestically too and will pass deadpools domestic total in the next few weeks as well. Im sure yall are setting up new goal post already.
