only company that might take it is netflix
I don't think this "fits" any other streamer like that
if the rumors were true about this being a prequel to the animated series then I wasn't interested anyway

Only way I could see Netflix considering taking it is if WB/Discovery would allow them to sell toys and other merchandise from that particular show or else there's no use in taking it on.

People weren't watching the majority of these shows/reruns to justify the cost of keeping them on the service anyways, so I don't necessarily get the fake outrage.
The outrage is real. I’m not paying a monthly fee to see 90 day fiancé quality of tv. Reality shows only work on cable because it’s essentially free. None of them shows are must watch. And I ain’t paying to watch them.

They are going to realize that the majority of the people who pay for these services want good scripted shows and not fast food tv. Yea I’m pissed

I can see why they’re shelving these projects because reality TV is just cheap as hell to produce. If they're not making money from the toy sales of these animated projects, it's essentially a loss, no matter how critically acclaimed they are. Now is it a good idea from a PR standpoint? Absolutely not.

This is true.

nikkas would argue with me for years when I said Young Justice got canceled because its toyline bombed, but without a toyline to help offset the budget seasons three and four were nothing but people narrating over PowerPoints. :francis:

And the show got canceled again. :francis:

Nope didn’t see it. All I ever see is them canceling shows that I was already invested or interested in.

Did they have anything good from DC?

They announced Titans and Doom Patrol new seasons on that trailer but matt reeves also just signed an extension to produce more DC content as well. They are supposed to announce full DC plans soon.

Ehh. Doom patrol is garbage. And I here this past season of titans was as well. The good dc content has always been their animation

Everything in that trailer was started by the previous regime.

That’s part of why all the articles are questioning WBD. We are seeing a lot of HBO mainstays cutting but not much building.

We’re only seeing stuff that was so far into production a notification of termination was called for. They probably killed a bunch of projects that were so early in production it barely registered that it was cut.
