I kinda ruined Batman Returns a lil bit for a bunch of people in the theater. It was me, my older brother and his friend. My mother took us. I was 7.

Anyways we went to an afternoon show and on the way out I said something like "Yea but Catwoman is still alive!" very loud and very audibly right in front of a full line of people inside the theater waiting for the showing after us. :snoop:

If any of you happened to be one of those people sorry brehs. :yeshrug:

Saw all 4 recently. 89 has not aged very well IMO and Forever was pretty bad though I feel Val Kilmer was a decent Batman. Obviously Batman & Robin ain't even worth talking about.

I really enjoyed DeVito's Penguin even if it's nothing like the real character, and I still feel Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman is the sexiest white woman I've seen on a movie screen. I just think it was a better movie overall and feels less dated.

I was born the year after 89 Batman dropped so the nostalgia isn't really there for me either. Might have something to do with it. I vaguely remember Returns.

I think 89 has aged OK but not great but to me, it's aged the best out of the first 4. Returns from a writing standpoint just keeps kicking me in the balls anytime I watch it and there's no nostalgia involved with either one. If anything, I remember seeing Returns more than the first because I was 6 and not 3.

The marketing with McDonald's for Returns and Forever :ohlawd:
We were collecting all those cups, and with Forever they actually had glass mugs.
The McDonald's Batman Returns Hero Burger is their goat sammich for me, it was like eating a cheeseburger sub :lawd:
They too cheap to do anything like that these days.

I think a new premise to the Batman world would have it set in the thirty's...imagine Batman wit an old pistol shootin dudes like the original comics...

oh shyt...damn I feel old. LOL Think I was in the 5th/6th grade or something when this dropped. The hype was off the scale, loved it and saw it twice at the theater.
They sort of paid homage to the original with the trailer of TDK.

Jack's Joker, "Winged freak.....terrorizes.....wait till they get a load of me....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"

Ledger's Joker, "To them...you're a freak....just like me......AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"

one was 'when 2 are in love' and Im guessing electric chair, (anna) vickie waiting and scandalous

he really shouldnt have pulled dance with the devil i got the demo, that track really captures the dark aspect of the movie to a T
