they knocked the finale out the park. This ones goin down as an all timer. There's never been a show as genre bending as this has been that I can think of. Bill Hader's really got a mind for this entertainment biz. HBO need to throw a bag at him once this writers strike is over and tell him to create some more dope shyt. I gotta spin this series back again...RIP my nikka Taylor.

:mjlol:

now i get to watch Succesion. Thank you based HBGOAT.

Decent ending. Sally is a scumbag though....tells Barry to confess...then leaves, which makes him go to Gene house and gets him killed. Gene then looks like a cold blooded killer. Doesn't seem like she was a witness for Gene otherwise his kid wouldn't be cheesing at the lie on the screen.

The Mask Collector aka Barry the Movie :dead:

I knew daniel day would be a hella of stretch. But i do wish they really could have got Walberg for that part :mjlol:. fukk it HBO and and Hader should cashed in on some favors and got someone famous for those parts.

Kristen bell as sally, ben kingsley as gene; Barry it could have been any surprised big name actor maybe Henry Cavill hell if " "The Rock" or Cena would have popped up i would had been in tears 😂

"I think you should turn yourself in"
"I don't think God wants that for me."

We definitely had to see the movie, I think that was the right way to end it. Barry as the hero, that's genius :mjlol:

Sally left Barry the same way she left her first abusive boyfriend so that didn't surprise me.

I loved the death of Barry. The framing of Cousineau seated on the couch to make it look like a set and the applause to end it "and scene" :banderas:

Fuches didn't show up to kill Barry, he showed up to save John. He didn't want to make the same mistake he made with Barry.

Definitely need a rewatch because I know I missed something and may even rewatch the series during the fall if the writer's strike is still ongoing by then.

Specifically the bold part: I was zooted yesterday before watching the finale and thinking "What if "Barry" was just a play that Cousineau wrote and we've been watching a play all this time"

So that part had me like I KNEW IT :russ:

But that was a good finale. The Hollywoodification of the story had me rollin. Fuches being written out entirely *chef's kiss*

I was very satisfied with the ending. I really went in not knowing what would happen. I watched the last 3 seasons live, I had watched the first like a year beforehand. I think it was a great show. I think it was a great ending.

Show transformed into a different beast ever since Hiro Murai left and Hader took over. That ain’t a dig at Murai either…dude is fukking amazing. Bill has this Coen Brothers style of directing that I felt went hand in hand with Barry’s spiraling lifestyle.

I can't believe I slept on this show, it's dope. I binge watching since last week. I'm on season 4, episode 6
How do you feel about how the show has changed over the last 4 years? To me it went from a dark comedy to a straight up drama with some comedic elements.
