Good show, had a planned 4 seasons and executed the plot smoothly. Berg and Hader should get more opportunities, keeping an eye on what they cook up next.
I'm all in on Hader doing a horror film or seriesGood show, had a planned 4 seasons and executed the plot smoothly. Berg and Hader should get more opportunities, keeping an eye on what they cook up next.
The storeBarry walking out the store with like ten guns without nobody caring was great commentary on gun violence
Here’s the thing tho, Cousineau’s massive ego would have avoided all of this if he didn’t get excited at Daniel Day-Lewis playing him in a movie. She knows the truth but doesn't help Cousineau get free.
Having a massive ego doesn’t mean he should blamed for all those crimes he didn’t commit. Here’s the thing tho, Cousineau’s massive ego would have avoided all of this if he didn’t get excited at Daniel Day-Lewis playing him in a movie.
I don’t disagree with thatHaving a massive ego doesn’t mean he should blamed for all those crimes he didn’t commit.
He just got the bad luck of the draw with the only other person knowing the truth also has a massive ego.
Everybody except the black detective and fonz son were foul dispictable people. Lol at Berry thinking going to church on tv was going to make him a better person because he would have lived in his desert hellhole for the rest of his life if he never went back for fonzI need to rewatch the series. Still love the finale, and overall S4 was great IMO. I think a couple things through people off. first there was something that always happens with these shows: viewers fall in love with a sociopathic antagonist, enjoy cheering as he gets away with various things, and then become frustrated with the final season as he reaps what he sowed. I shouldn't be surprised but I kinda am, given that Barry moreso than any other show really delved into consequences early. Each of the first three seasons had Barry fukking up and paying a cost so I thought people would be ready for the conclusion of that.
The second thing was the tone shift of the time jump. All of a sudden all of the brightness, absurdity, and energy of LA was largely gone and Barry was in a sand dune. That was definitely jarring at first, and kind of ended stories I wanted to see more of. How did they escape Sally's house without Jim seeing, for instance. Also would have loved more Sally In Hollywood shyt. But ultimately the shift was compelling. Especially the episode with the diner stuff. If I have a complaint it would be that two more episodes would have been good to have.
