Kansas City, MO.
And from the story he told he all but admitted he knew women were being raped and probably murdered in there.

:francis:

A lot of this movie was not thought out very well.
to be fair, when Tess called the police they acted like she was crackhead, and the black dude was most likely a junkie himself. His stories probably came off like fiction too. He knew the police wouldn't do shyt.

Saw it yesterday. It was cool, I have a lady friend whom I may take to see it tomorrow.

My kid was like, “You said it was supposed to be really scary…it wasn’t that scary…:beli: But he thought it was alright

The movie star that got his…tell me that wasn’t a callback to how his character seemingly died in a classic horror film from the past

I don’t know, but when it happened I had the same exact thought.

Zach Cregger, the director, is also on Reddit apparently and the similarities in AJ’s death here compared to the one Long had in Jeepers Creepers was an unintentional addition.

It really feels like Justin Long stays getting finessed in horror tho. :dead:

Still heated about this film. This film could easily been great if you eliminated that whole first half. Get rid of Keth. Have her go to this airbnb. Get curious. Go downstairs and discover that woman. Stay trapped. Then introduce AJ and have him find her.

2ndly, what with these White Detroit films? They did it in "Don't Breathe. And now they did it here. Bright Mo is a great place to make a horror movie. With so spaces between houses (it's like being in the country on some streets. So much space between houses). But they just insist on making these white movies in Detroit. Maybe they don't wanna appear racist. Idk.

3rd. I get horror movies make characters dumb. You see it in Friday the 13th. Have no problem in suspending some belief. But she went from scary cat to fearless. I don't even wanna discuss some of her decisions because it will make me upset again. Tes is one of the worst written characters I've ever seen in film.

AJ was the best part. And absolute scumbag and he played his part. Down to tossing Tess. That was funny and great.

The movie had funny moments and the killer was well written. Her supernatural strength was cool. But again it was so much stuff that didn't make sense.

That Keith shyt sounds like a straight swerve. Like literally set up to have us thinking the movie was gonna go one way, before they switched over to the fukkery.

I’m not mad at it per se, I just wonder how many moviegoers thought dude was gonna play some torturous type, or some ol’ pseudo Pennywise shyt :russ:

I'm sure most did. To me, it was a waste. But maybe I'm being emotional. Would have been a way better movie without the :troll: ing

The year 3030
since the trailer only showed parts of that, it def. was a swerve when act 2 starts

the flick could've gone either way...a more standard scare for scare flick or the fukkery we got

seriously thought it'd be more of the former, from the trailers...looked pretty by the books
