personally no.

Black phone played it straight...This is more like @TheNatureBoy said, Malignant (if you've seen that)...and I think it played it up well.

Trailers did a good ass job of not spoiling anything (similar to Malignant)


Can't really compare the two, other than being both being horror-ish

Me and only 2 others in theater.

I was last to leave but swear I heard some paper crinkling up top. Add to that the creepy music during the credits I damn near ran out

I’m like you and can tell you. No its not very scary. The reviews have yet again oversold a film.

In fact the film turns into damn near comedy.

Majorly wasted opportunity especially when you consider what the film reveals and is barely even talked about.

A lot of this movie was not thought out very well.

Oh wow, a comedy? I hate when scary movies do that, because I could just watch a real comedy instead. And I did read some of the spoilers so I have a jist of what you mean...
