I hate the whole 'blacks in America' stats as if people broke it down they'd realize in America AA (mainly), then Nigerians and probably Trini's and then after that other African groups are the only people pushing that weight. I worked 1 year at the Goldman NYC office and everyone I worked with was either AA, Nigerian American or Trini I didn't meet but one Haitain. I don't know where Haitains have ever been seen as the pinnacle of progress and success. Ridiculous.

2. No, what I'm saying is that white people (i.e., the government) gave black people the resources that y'all claim are yours. If they were truly AAs' resources, then y'all wouldn't have to worry about the government cutting down on spending for those resources or taking them away outright. The resources that you are claiming are for AAs actually belong to dominant society. AAs have no more ownership over these resources than black immigrants who live in the black community (or in American in general).

3. No one is threatened by Nigerians.

Its because they are using percentages, not raw stats.

50% of 1 million Haitians graduating college may sound better than 20% of 44 million Black Americans but its a huge difference in raw numbers.

how is it detrimental to african americans when most of those people come here work, pay taxes, and overall net give more than they take. please give state some instances where you know black immigrants are taking from AA

the few pennies they put back into the tax system will never cover the subsidised healthcare and free schooling their multiple children recieve, ever.
