Just cause the people "in charge" are black doesn't mean they intend on fighting racial inequality and white supremacy. Most of those folks end up being tokens.

Truth of the matter is a lot of those positions are institutional: you are expected to do things a certain way, regardless of your background. A lot of those things are not to the benefit of black people, as we are seeing now and have seen for the past X amount of years.
