Randle will always be ass defensively. Ingram's potential is much higher than Randle's and at his best, he looked a lot better.

Magic must be calling Indy's bluff on George. He isn't gonna get raped in a trade for him.

I agree that Ingram has a higher ceiling, but Randle at his best last season was better than Ingram at his best last season. The "Big" game that Ingram had was when he almost had a triple double. Julius had multiple triple doubles last season.

Defensively no matter how much he improves Julius will never be as good as Ingram, but Julius had a lot of good defensive moments last season, especially late in some games. Randle's off ball defensive awareness is terrible, but his man to man defense is better than people give him credit for.

Randle had a similar problem to Russell in that he would just sleep walk through some games. I've seen people say it had to do with his conditioning, because on the second end of back to backs he'd usually have bad games.

Randle looks great if you're paying attention to one end. Defensively, he was giving everything back. Not entirely his fault, he has blake griffin arms. Hopefully the new conditioning and body(nh) helps him out with endurance. Dude got gassed way too quick. We need to give up on the whole he can be our next draymond.

Too soon to give up on Randle IMO, given that he has been improving from season to season and he's still only 22. If he's still around by the start of the season he'll have a chance to solidify his spot with the team.

I'm not saying give up on him. I'm saying give up on the whole wannabe draymond forced shyt we're doing. He'll never be Draymond.

Offensively I still think he can be better than Draymond just off his size, speed, and quickness, but defensively he'll never be as good as Draymond. I think Julius can be MUCH better defensively than he is, but he's not likely to be a perennial defensive player of the year candidate.

Ingram has the highest potential out of our young players but he was straight doodoo butter for 4/5ths of the season. Idk where some of the rhetoric comes from with him. Im more excited about him defensively if anything

Yeah I'm not understanding how Russell never had any good moments all of a sudden. I think his issue was the same as everyone else, we needed a real point guard to involve everyone. At this point we gotta move on, but I'm no fan of this trade at all.

The great thing about Ingram is that worst case scenario he'll be an elite defensive player. He has the potential to be one of the best two way players in the league though.

He has a feel for the game that you can just see if you watch him play. His struggles weren't really do to bad decisions or lack of ability, he just seemed hesitant and it took time for him to adjust to the speed of the game. By most accounts Ingram already looks much better than he did last season.

They had better seasons as far as numbers. sure. But MCW had a great rookie season numbers wise too. When they all played at their best, who did you look at and say :whoo: I see it. Randle? :skip: Russell? :leostare: Ingram? :ohlawd:. Ingram showed way more his rookie season than both did. I don't caree about the numbers. Why else do you think BI is off limits? Because of numbers? :childplease:

I like his 2 way potential, and i think his floor has a player is high because of that but im not sure I see superstar out of him. Showed some flashes but overall was very timid. Gonna have to develop that alpha mentality. Plus I was very disappointed about his shooting. I felt like there were a lot of goal post moving to protect him. I just think people are overrating how good he looked last year. For most of the year he was terrible:yeshrug:. But I still do like his potential due to his insane length and his youth. He was a baby last year. I always have to remind myself of that before I get discouraged:mjcry:
