Please explain to me how nance, Randle and crew are better than this

And this is just last year. Kid is a skilled big man. And he’s still young, not even 23 yet.

When he played he showed promise then they stopped playing him on some bs.

The problem is y’all judging oakafor like he’s a ten year vet.

dude doesnt give a fukk about defense. I dont see where he would fit. Nance, Randle, and Kuzma are all more valuable players for different reasons.

Breh, no disrespect........but nobody cares what you're talking about.

Your takes have been proven as :trash: way too many times now...chill out.

If we could get someone like Okafor for a 2nd round pick, and that's all we'd have to give up, we need to take it.

Okafor is better offensively than every single Big we have on the roster outside of Kuzma. We don't have the talent to be talking about defense....we don't have defense now in the low post, so bringing Okafor in will only improve our offense & keep the defense exactly the same.

Yall gotta be kidding acting like a sole 2nd round pick is too much to give up for Okafor:hhh:

Did yall forget who is on the Lakers roster? We need ALL the talent we can get and an imaginary 2nd round pick means 0 to us or our future.
he wouldnt see the court though, thats the issue.

I didn't watch the game, but whats with the the sudden turn on Nance Jr? :russ:

I told you all that yall stay over hyping him. Some posters (they know who they are...) actually want Nance over Randle. I'm not even close to being a fan of Randles game, but we know who the clear talent is out of the two.
The other one is nothing but an upgrade Mark Madesn
"b...b...but Nance brings defense and intangibles" :mjlol:
I like Nance, but Randle is a superior talent. Mainly, defensive wise now that Randle is playing with effort, I think he should be playing more than nance. Lou was murdering Nance in the PNR/switches. Randle can atleast contain guards in the PNR.

FreeDawkins Here, I can do that too..not hard.

You still can't refute one thing in my post about his game other than posting 2 videos in 2 years of 2 good games. I actually want him to come, so I can see you turn on him after he starts showing his defense and lack of offensive skills outside posting up which Lakers wont run:mjlol:

Oh shut up nikka. He had 4 blocks in that game against the warriors. You expect a nikka to play defense for a team that don’t want him lol

He is a big man you dumbass, what other offensive skills does he need?

Point is no big on the Lakers has his post game that’s why Luke doesn’t run it, maybe if he had a big man that can post up he’d run more plays to the post which would also open up shots on the perimeter.

And don’t quote me again you bytchass nikka :hhh:

On the lakers???:gucci:

if Okafor is on this team say goodbye to Randle
lol well Randle is more valuable than Okafor based off defensive ability alone. I think you dudes understand how bad Jahlil is defensively. If he gets switched in PNR he's done. He is strictly a post scorer and doesnt fit the team at all.

I think people are judging fit not talent. I think Okafur has one exceptional talent when posting up but he's not a good passer, slow laterally which kills his defense, bad rebounder, and when he played just didn't have any sort of defensive instincts and stayed getting lost. But he is a beast in the paint with the ball in his hands. I just don't like the fit with the rest of the team as none of the guys around him are good enough shooters to build an offense around a post player.

Breh...we're not in a position to turn our nose up at *potentially* giving up a 2nd round pick for Jahlil Okafor.

  1. I want him because he's better than every Big Man we have currently under contract, outside Kuzma, and all that's needed to get him, still on a rookie contract, is a 2nd round pick. That's a steal for us.
  2. Where would he fit? At starting Center next to Kuzma. I don't care about Brook Lopez, Andrew Bogut or Zubac getting any PT...he's better than all of em. They would need to find where they fit, not the other way around. Randle, Nance...the same thing. They would need to find how they can earn minutes after Okafor/Kuzma.

There's never a such thing as having "too much" talent on a team that barely has talent in comparision to half the NBA. Having Okafor & Kuzma as the 5 and 4 and Randle, Nance, Lopez scrambling to find their minutes in the rotation off the bench is a GOOD problem...not a bad one.

I'd like yall to tell me why if we were able to get Okafor for a 2nd round pick, how would that make us any worse? If anything, it gives a consistent low post presence that would open up the 3 point line for the rest of the team to shoot with space....something Brook Lopez doesn't provide at all, because he's standing next to Lonzo Ball waiting for his next turn to brick a 3 as a 7 footer:scust:

You had me with taking a flyer on Okafor but then lost me with putting him in the starting lineup. :francis:

Unless he dramatically improves his defense Oak's role in this league might be an Ennis Kanter in OKC type. Which isn't a bad thing, we desperately need a consistent low post scorer when the offense gets stagnant. He could serve that role coming off the bench.
