We already have enough bigs on this roster to add Jahlil Okafor.

And some of you think more highly about him than rest of the league, if he was as good as you claim, someone would have traded for him already. The fact is he is not that good. He is a big who cant defend, rebound, can't shoot. He is mainly a post up player in a league where they are trying to run away from that. Lakers don't even run his style, just look at how they treat Lopez. He is not better than Kuzma, Lopez, Randle. I will even take Nance over him because Nance can do the other things that Okafor can't.

Okafor just isn't that good, otherwise Sixers would be playing him at least as a backup but they don't:yeshrug:. I do hope he gets another chance and can become a solid NBA player but it should not be on a team with already enough bigs. Luke has trouble playing all right now, why would Lakers add more to that.

Okafor would be a waste here. I like dude and want him to be able to get a real shot. He needs to go to a team that would use him. Let’s be honest, Luke wouldn’t play him. He’s not better then Lopez. Refer to Lopez’s career numbers. That’s a much larger sample size over Jah’s.

LA needs a shorter rotation, not a longer one.

Cousins is gonna be one of their top targets next summer. They're not gonna trade for Okafor when he won't be a top priority in free agency.

And he only uses Bogut when it comes to size and defense, and Okafor wont bring that here. He would be on the bench like he is on Sixers. If Lakers get rid of Randle/Lopez before the deadline and need another piece, I wouldn't mind having him. But he is not better than (Lopez, Randle, Nance, Kuzma)

This is all bullshyt. He’s been in the League 2 years, averaged 18 and 7 his rookie year and ran into problems with the team his second. Teams won’t trade for him because they know they can get him for cheap next year. Watch him have a breakout year next season.

Breh, no disrespect........but nobody cares what you're talking about.

Your takes have been proven as :trash: way too many times now...chill out.

If we could get someone like Okafor for a 2nd round pick, and that's all we'd have to give up, we need to take it.

Okafor is better offensively than every single Big we have on the roster outside of Kuzma. We don't have the talent to be talking about defense....we don't have defense now in the low post, so bringing Okafor in will only improve our offense & keep the defense exactly the same.

Yall gotta be kidding acting like a sole 2nd round pick is too much to give up for Okafor:hhh:

Did yall forget who is on the Lakers roster? We need ALL the talent we can get and an imaginary 2nd round pick means 0 to us or our future.

A GOOD PORTION OF LAKER FANS HERE AINT EVEN FROM LA AND DEF DONT HAVE A TRACK RECORD OF FOLLOWING THE TEAM SINCE SHOWTIME ERA..THE SELECT FEW ROUND HERE WHO ON THAT LEVEL I SALUTE. U DONT SEEM TO FIT THE CRITERIA BY THE WAY U RUNNIN YOUR MOUTH THO.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION .. I NEVER SAID OKAFOR AINT WORTH A SECOND ROUND PICK. BUT OFFENSIVELY, HE IS INTERCHANGEABLE WITH BROOK LOPEZ MINUS THE SHOT.. AND WE ALL SEE HOW THATS PANNING OUT.

FACT OF THE MATTER IS, LUKE'S SYSTEM LEAVES NO ROOM FOR A BACK TO THE BASKET BIG MAN..BUT AS A CASUAL, U WOULDNT KNOW THAT. BASKETBALL IS NOT ALL ABOUT COMPILING TALENT. YOU GOT TO MATCH THE PIECES TO THE PUZZLE, YOUNG'N.

Lakers 2nd round picks of this decade:

Devin Ebanks
Derrick Caracter
Andrew Goudelock
Chuk Maduabum
Ater Majok
Robert Sacre
Ryan Kelly
Anthony Brown
Zubac
Tony Bradley

But we cant give up a 2nd round pick for Jahlil Okafor? Yeah, because we've had such great luck finding steals in the 2nd round:hhh:

Lakers are stupid:snoop:

Jordan Clarkson was a 2nd round pick

MCW was also very good in his rookie year, doesn't mean shyt..lol. Please tell me what I said about his play is BS instead of saying 18 and 7 in his rookie year. And the bolded is just hilarious, if any team thought he was worth it..they would trade a 2nd in a second:krs:.

Just an FYI, we have no 2018 1st round pick, giving our 2nd to Orlando, and receiving Denver’s 2nd. So as of now, in next year’s draft, which is supposed to be a good one, we only have Denver’s 2nd round pick.

We also know we need to trade a combination of Randle, Clarkson, and Deng to clear cap. We can’t afford to throw away assets for Okafor to join our log jam of bigs, especially since he will be a unrestricted FA next summer.

Please explain to me how nance, Randle and crew are better than this

And this is just last year. Kid is a skilled big man. And he’s still young, not even 23 yet.

When he played he showed promise then they stopped playing him on some bs.

The problem is y’all judging oakafor like he’s a ten year vet.
