YALL SEE THE WAY BROOK LOPEZ DOESNT FIT IN WIT THE TEAM .. WHAT MAKES U THINK OKAFOR WOULD? LAST THING WE NEED IS ANOTHER TRADITIONAL CENTER.. OKAFOR IS LIKE LOPEZ WITOUT THE DEFENSE AND SHOT. WE HAVE A GOOD ROSTER, IT JUS NEEDS TO BE MANAGED BETTER.

Breh, no disrespect........but nobody cares what you're talking about.

Your takes have been proven as :trash: way too many times now...chill out.

If we could get someone like Okafor for a 2nd round pick, and that's all we'd have to give up, we need to take it.

Okafor is better offensively than every single Big we have on the roster outside of Kuzma. We don't have the talent to be talking about defense....we don't have defense now in the low post, so bringing Okafor in will only improve our offense & keep the defense exactly the same.

Yall gotta be kidding acting like a sole 2nd round pick is too much to give up for Okafor:hhh:

Did yall forget who is on the Lakers roster? We need ALL the talent we can get and an imaginary 2nd round pick means 0 to us or our future.

Lakers 2nd round picks of this decade:

Devin Ebanks
Derrick Caracter
Andrew Goudelock
Chuk Maduabum
Ater Majok
Robert Sacre
Ryan Kelly
Anthony Brown
Zubac
Tony Bradley

But we cant give up a 2nd round pick for Jahlil Okafor? Yeah, because we've had such great luck finding steals in the 2nd round:hhh:

Lakers are stupid:snoop:

I didn't watch the game, but whats with the the sudden turn on Nance Jr? :russ:

I told you all that yall stay over hyping him. Some posters (they know who they are...) actually want Nance over Randle. I'm not even close to being a fan of Randles game, but we know who the clear talent is out of the two.
The other one is nothing but an upgrade Mark Madesn
"b...b...but Nance brings defense and intangibles" :mjlol:
:francis: maybe you should have watched the game before posting that.

breh, the GSW having these dudes losing all perspective. These stanleys are hopeful to finding a Draymond Green ass energy player with range, because to them, those guys are usually in the second round and all.

Jahlil wants to be here. He’d be the best player on the Lakers right now.

nikkad talking bout his defense, that’s something that comes with the RIGHT coaching situation, not many young players are even good defenders this early in there careers.

Jahlil has a Elite post game. Not many young players have this either.

And Oak is literally better than all of them.

And what is this teams identity? They have non at this point.
So you guys think Okafor is better then Lopez? Better then Randle who is having a career year? And how would he get post looks with no shooters on the team? We gonna pound the post in a pace and space era?

The identity is supposed to be gritty defense and running the floor.

@Newzz I gave reasons why trading for Okafor would a waste. Why do you want him? Where would he fit on this team? Luke wouldn’t even play him. We have too many bigs.

Breh...we're not in a position to turn our nose up at *potentially* giving up a 2nd round pick for Jahlil Okafor.

  1. I want him because he's better than every Big Man we have currently under contract, outside Kuzma, and all that's needed to get him, still on a rookie contract, is a 2nd round pick. That's a steal for us.
  2. Where would he fit? At starting Center next to Kuzma. I don't care about Brook Lopez, Andrew Bogut or Zubac getting any PT...he's better than all of em. They would need to find where they fit, not the other way around. Randle, Nance...the same thing. They would need to find how they can earn minutes after Okafor/Kuzma.

There's never a such thing as having "too much" talent on a team that barely has talent in comparision to half the NBA. Having Okafor & Kuzma as the 5 and 4 and Randle, Nance, Lopez scrambling to find their minutes in the rotation off the bench is a GOOD problem...not a bad one.

I'd like yall to tell me why if we were able to get Okafor for a 2nd round pick, how would that make us any worse? If anything, it gives a consistent low post presence that would open up the 3 point line for the rest of the team to shoot with space....something Brook Lopez doesn't provide at all, because he's standing next to Lonzo Ball waiting for his next turn to brick a 3 as a 7 footer:scust:

Yes Jahlil is better than all of them. Randle is having a career year, great, how does his career year stack up against Jahlil rookie year where he averaged 18 and 7. If Jahlil played for us he’d be averaging 20 and 9 by now.
