Bad Boys 3 Set For 2/17/17....Bad Boys 4 to follow?

He's a better director than bay tho hence me wanting to see him do it. And Marky mark said bay is coming back for 5. I'm sure he'll get some executive production cred for it but I want a director who can handle action and character rather than just one and completely ignore the other. Carnahan has shown he can blow shyt up with the best of them but also make character driven stuff and just wild off beat stuff

I agree Joe is little more verstile but "Bad Boys" isn't about quality acting or even charater driven style. It's about Action, Bay fukkery and Martin and Will's chemstry. Joe action films aren't on Bay's level man. "A-Team" was weak, 'Smoking Aces" wasn't that great either. Michael Bay's action has influenced this entire industry. I"m just speculating but maybe the deal was Joe will write the next 2 films and only direct part 4 and Bay does 3 since they are releasing 2 years apart. I don't know again I like Joe but this is Michael Bay's world. As for TF5 I believe Marky Mark said Bay was thinking about doing it but it wasn't confirmed. Now that 2 Bad Boys sequels have been confirmed and have release dates I'm feeling something happen behind the scenes. Bay shot "Bengazhi" very quick, I was shocked when I saw the trailer.

Man I'd take A-Team over most of what Bay has given me the last few years. Along with Stretch. But I also think it has more to do with me loving the first bad boys a lot more than the 2nd, which wasn't "typical Bay fukkery" since he wasn't even that guy yet and I think it's the better flick. I'd prefer a different voice since I'm just tired of Bay's I guess. Like I said to @Ziggiy I get the sentiment and feel you, but I just disagree with it and it's not needed for me at all to enjoy the movie. In fact, I'll probably enjoy it more if it isn't him but that's my personal taste. It'd be nice if someone COULD take the series to the more Lethal Weapon type realm where you get the insane action and good character stuff rather than sacrificing one for the other. If Bay is still around of course it won't stop me from seeing it but still, I got my preferences

Not to me man. You got Martin, you got Will. IF you got the both of them and a good action director who's got a better handle on the things that Bay doesn't, then I'm good. But I get the sentiment, just don't agree with it

Did I not say i LOVED the first one? Yeah I did breh lol. Check the post right above the one you posted under. And I said I like it more than the 2nd one plus I'm just getting bored with Michael Bay lately for real, so I want a change of pace to something that I actually like. So like I said again, it's my preference for another voice to tell the story but it doesn't mean I won't watch it. There's nothing wrong with being a fan of something but still not being a cheerleader for it. I prefer bad boys 1 to bad boys 2 by a lot but it doesn't mean I don't like Bad Boys 2, just not as wild about it as the first one :whoknows:

as a fan of the tv show you should have been pissed off at the movie as it lacked the charm, wit or feel of the 80s show. It felt like a bad snl skit turned in a 90minute movie produced by mtv

I hear you breh. I'm not saying it's a perfect flick but I loved it. I'll agree that it was certainly a harder version of the tv show..not miami vice hard but still a harder version, but I fukk with it. I liked the action, like the characters, the interaction between the four of them, and the feel of it. Far from perfect but I like it and loved the energy. Not as much energy as he brought to stretch, but stretch is a bugged out movie anyway

These are the type of movies Michael Bay does well at. Smh at people say they want something different. If bad boys 3 is nothing but bad boys 2 with 10x the fukkery then we have movie of the decade approaching.

Bad boys 3 literally just needs to look at fast 6 and 7 and put martin and will at the forefront. Thats it.

Bad Boys with no Bay is like Die Hard with no Mctierman or Terminator with no Cameron and we all know how those series turned out without those directors .
