Bad Boys 3 Set For 2/17/17....Bad Boys 4 to follow?

Meh fukk him lol. I already said I prefer Joe Carnahan anyway. He's writing it and I'm sure he'd be ready and willing to direct and to me that'd be a better ride. I'm just really not interested in anything bay has to say as a director now. I wish I was but I'm just bored with him.

I just want to see one more Mike Lowry/Marcus Burnett team up of 2 hour fukkery. I'd actually prefer them NOT to go with the "set up for future installments with another duo" route, as I feel that Bad Boys, like Lethal Weapon and Rush Hour, works only off the dynamic comic chemistry of the two leads. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are lightning in a bottle, you will NOT get that type of pairing again.

Once Will and Martin and Michael Bay are finished my vote is to let it go and let the new generation of writers and actors come up with something original.

This is how I feel. It's why "Rush Hour" got 3 movies and "Leathal Weapon" got 4. The chemistry is key. When Will wasn't confirmed, there's no way they could go along with the movie. "Bad Boys" influences are all over "Ride Along 2" so it's showing you the impact the movies have had. I say "Bad Boys III" should be the finale of the Triogy and go out with all glory. I'm not sold on the 4th film until the 3rd film is done but this one they sould pull out all stops.

I think after what "Deadpool" did they could of still kept the February release date but I understand moving it to the Summer. Sadly No Michael Bay. He decided to make his 100 Milli doing Transformers 5. I honestly don't think Bay wanted to do TF5 but Paramount begged him again and probably increased his points something serious. He will still produce BB3 but now it's offical Joe C takes over the reigns. 6/2/2017 is the new date. February would of been cool but Summer gives them a chance to make more money for sure.

I'm sad about Bay but as long as he keeps a watchful eye over Joe and the production we will still have his style in the background. It will be Joe's film but as you see with "Ninja Turles" even though Bay didn't direct you can see his influence. I'm just happy it's officially greenlit and on the way. Maybe Bay can come back for Part 4 since it's scheudled for 4th of July 2019. Again I like Joe and i'm willing to give him a chance. I just hope he really studied the first couple films and understands it's Martin and Will's chemstry that makes the movie but it has to be funny and have a lot of action.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but the man makes hits and not all of movies are terrible. Audiences seem to enjoy what he brings to the table. I'm not saying he's artistically one of the greatest directors. Action wise he is, clearly. But you can't hate on the man because he's a success. There is no "Bad Boys" without Bay and what he brings to the table. But going forward we are going to see where the franchise goes with a different director but he's still working behind the scenes producing the film. At the end of the day "Bad Boys" which was his first film did a lot for not only Michael's own career but Will and Martin's aswell.
