Glad Joe Carnahan finally cracked this bad boys thing though. Definitely want to see what these two movies look like with him at the helm

The magnificent 7 might be dope..I'm still on board for Ghostbusters...but a Jumanji remake? Meh. Good for the little girls who are into Barbie though, but I'm assuming Jumanji and Barbie are dependent on Goosebumps

The release Date is Michael Bay's birthday. Maybe he changed his mind or they are just paying homage. They wouldn't of released the dates if Will and Martin didn't sign on. Will doesn't have anything else on his plate after "Suicide Squad" dropping next Summer and "Concussion" which drops this Christmas. Martin is touring just doing comedy shows. The 4th of July release date for Part 4 also makes me believe Will signed on. 4th of July was called "Big Willie Weekend" at the Box Office because Will Smith is the highest grossing actor on the 4th of July.

I saw a comment from Will on his facebook page responding to a fan a while back saying he got the script on Bad Boys 3 and was reading it. So I assume he's on board now.

slashfilm got me all confused cuz they say bay will be directing these but also talk about carnahan ....me personally i want bay. Carnahan is cool but only bay can deliver the fukkery and sunshine the bad boys movies are known for. Say what u want about bay but carnahan hasnt even come close to a scene like the car chase in bad boys 2

Bay already confirmed he wasn't doing "Transformers 5". His new movie "Bengazhi" is done as well. I'm cool with Joe, loved "The Grey" but he's not a better action director than Bay and this is Michael Bay's baby. Them releasing it on his Birthday does make me wonder. I did notice in the release dates they did not speak about Will or Martin or Bay or even Joe. I think at the bare minimum Bay is producing the sequels just like what he's doing with "Transfomers".

He's a better director than bay tho hence me wanting to see him do it. And Marky mark said bay is coming back for 5. I'm sure he'll get some executive production cred for it but I want a director who can handle action and character rather than just one and completely ignore the other. Carnahan has shown he can blow shyt up with the best of them but also make character driven stuff and just wild off beat stuff

Not to me man. You got Martin, you got Will. IF you got the both of them and a good action director who's got a better handle on the things that Bay doesn't, then I'm good. But I get the sentiment, just don't agree with it
