:lupe:Do studios read these forums? I swear this ain't the first time TFR has discussed something and the next week it gets a rumor or announcement of it happening.

Yeah studios sit on #1 blockbuster franchises until they get the idea from 20 internet posters to do another sequel

Lol. I guess it's just coincidence, but we were just talking about this. And don't be naive. I'm sure studios have a department that keeps up with twitter/facebook/etc (maybe not the coli) to see what people are talking about and what's popular. That's common sense in this day and age.

Yeah you right. That was my job for a while but not for a studio..sucks ass tho. But there are other factors at play for this one: this thing has been stuck in development hell for 10 years plus and Joel Silver (the producer) kept trying to will it to happen.
B. Sony needs/wants franchises

I kinda feel like it'd be better. probably something more akin to the first one than the 2nd one. Michael Bay's current aesthetic is so far removed from anything tangible or human now lol. I'm curious as to how he's going to do this Benghazi movie

First off I don't understand how a guaranteed blockbuster can ever get stuck in development hell..
Second, I'm sorry but the main reason why I defend Bay so much and why I will see any of his movies, is because of how much I loved the bad boys franchise and the rock, amageddon and a few other movies. So you cant tell me to be excited about a sequel of one of my favorite movies with a new director... I know yall hate bay, but he aint M night or the Wachowski brothers where they have one hit and the rest duds, to be honest I don't even see what yall hate about him, but whatever, that's yall problem :yeshrug:

However if they can atleast get Bruckheimer on board I MAY be ok with it.

Let's hope that this time they 1. let Martin & Will improv off each other

2. Ditch the corny jokes from last time like throwin bullshyt in there just to be hip

3. We know Mike Lowrey's the supercop/stud of the duo, but he doesn't have to be a complete a$$hole just like Marcus the family man (Murtaugh Lethal Weapon) doesn't have to be a whiny chump

4. Create a situation & villian worth spendin 2 mil in action and stunts for 2 hrs of a story...maybe something involving cartel gun running that threatens everything and one they love
