Here's the problem, wrestlefags: Punk's gearing up to feud with the Rock here soon. That's happening, the plans are in place and its obviously one of the biggest things the WWE has upcoming. Now I've seen some of you once again launch into your homoerotic 'Punks not muscular enough!' diatribe about that match just as you've predictably done in this thread. So keeping in mind what's already in place, what's the point in having Punk lose right before taking on Dwayne? Especially when he's gonna have to get the belt back in less than a month anyway. He cant beat a random like Ryback and then hes supposed to have an epic showdown with the Rock? How beliveable is that one, kids?

Anderson Silva looks like a skinny fat dude too, next thing you know nikkas here gonna say that it wouldn't be possible for him to enter a Gold's Gym and put the beats on the first dude benching 500+ he sees :leostare:

Just sayin', the "unbelievable factor" is a reach. Show should be going over everyone all the time and never lose then, by that logic. Khali should be 4749273927392 time world heavy weight champion and so should every monster big man type Vince has pushed in the past. :troll:

The only way I can see this match ending is with Punk doing some type of fukkery to get himself DQ. Its a HIAC match but I'm sure that will only add to the fukkery of the DQ.

The thing about that is, Silva doesn't have to lay hands on any of these niccas in any way which would involve a wrestling move. He can just straight up knock a muhfukka out with his fist or use a submission.

Punk gotta 'grapple' with fukking Rob Van Goldberg who outweighs him plus is stronger. Its not that dam believable but if Punk can work that technical style, it will be more so; the match will just be slow paced.

Its probably a good thing though because Rob Van Dam is a power move type wrestler on some Mark Henry shyt. As much as he wants to shyt on Goldberg he doesn't have that type of explosiveness due to his weight.

But if he buss out a backflip :whoo:, he gonna get some props.

CALM DOWN. They actually got a new guy over so they have to protect him, Sheamus, Ziggler and Del Rio been getting Rob Conway pops. You think it matters about building for The Rock? :comeon:

Rock will draw regardless, you gotta focus on people who are on every show. If you get these people over you don't have to rely on guys like Brock and Rock with their limited dates.

It's not about The Rock, its about CM Punk's reign. If you beat him now, then why in the fukk have we wasted time on the whole 336 days and counting gimmick, as well as all the promotion spent on building to Rock/Punk in January. Rock's been set up to destroy that since July, why destroy that for a six-month flash in the pan?

I agree with you that the Internet cares too much at times about making everyone look strong. This is a case where they should go with the guy they want to push 100%.

The problem is that having Punk beat Ryback kills a guy who had the potential to draw money. He's not a sure thing, but he has a decent shot at drawing money in this business. CM Punk? His claim to fame in one year as top guy/co-top guy is doing a 15k buy increase on a B level ppv. Sacrificing Ryback for the sake of building a proven non-draw is bad business.

Punk fans will want him to beat Rock next and swear he just needs more victories or years with the belt for anyone to spend a dime to watch him or tune to Raw.

Like I said, Punk's absolutely losing to Rock, the whole point of why I'm so obstinate about this is because Punk's the most over heel in the company and there's a much bigger match than this to worry about with Rock taking on a white hot Punk.

I'll admit this with Ryback: I wouldn't want to beat him either. I understand that, it's only 6 months into the streak and he really hasn't beaten anyone of note yet. But I'm just picking the most important of the options and going with it, and right now building Punk for Rock is more important. As long as you do it in a way that allows for Ryback to retain his monster credibility, then you don't have Ryback lose for a long, long time (certainly not before getting the belt if he's proven himself worthy) and he beats Punk in dominant fashion in a post-WrestleMania rematch, I believe you'll get something special out of Ryback.

It's never just one or the other. You gotta be able to balance the two and attempt to get the best of both worlds here. Both are too important.

And for the love of everything, STOP SUGGESTING THIS. We JUST had a fukk finish last month, you want to screw your fans twice in a row?

There absolutely must be some type of decisive finish here. They just should've had Punk go over last month, in retrospect.

:rudy:Cm burns is a damn hater so stop pushing punk who is the most over heel and sells merchandise puts on great matches and is high rates segments every week and sacrifice him to a guy who never cuts promos or has long matches , no merch sales to speak of ?
What sense does that make ??

:

lol this is just stupid KidBlack come on.

Silva doesn't fight guys in the heavyweight weight class and he is also in shape. Punk looks like he just dropped acid everytime he comes out to ringside.

Who cares if there are two fukk finishes in a row? It's not like it's a blowoff to a feud. Only way it should end is a no contest via Lesnar interference. Or a Tweener Cener.

This is another important point. We all know wrestling is predetermined now, but remember how into it you were as a kid when you didn't know? What a magical time that was. I was raised on Goldberg and the NWO, I didn't know it was fake until somebody told me.

There are tons of kids watching WWE right now thinking it"s real and won't find out that it's fake for a few years, unless they do something completely unbelievable like have Punk win here.

I miss the days when it was still real to me,damnit.much more enjoyable than this smark shyt.i bet i'd be :mindblown: @ punk being champ for a whole year.

True but he has the potential to be something. My basis is look at the 2 Rock-Austin matches at WM for the title. The first one Rock and Mankind switched the title like 4 times leading up to it

The 2nd time Kurt Angle held the title pretty much for the whole year leading up to WM and Rock-Austin still headlined and did crazy numbers both times.

I see you with the title reign but the people gonna buy Rock-Punk as a dream match and Rock fighting for the title. It's not about anything CM Punk does from here til the Rumble that counts.
