That wasn't "Christianity"...It was a form of spirituality that you religious zealots try and twist into the white man's version as it is today to validate your enslavement to it....same with Islam.......You negroes are in love and still enslaved to this arab and cac, and you don't even know it.

ATR:

Indigenous African religions continue to be very important in many African societies. However, African religious beliefs and practices have not remained unchanged. The spread of
Islam and Christianity has influenced the practice of indigenous religious practice.

You don't know what you're talking about because the disciples and christ were men of color. And there were many disciples of christ in egypt and other places in africa. It has nothing to do with paganism. You are misinformed. Thinking that the bible is a "cac" invention

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
WRONG. christianity was in africa before it was in europe. She doesn't know her history like most black people.
Blacks had our own religions, INCLUDING Christianity, for her to resort to the tired narrative of the slaves being forced into Christianity as if that's their first and only introduction to it is a fukkin fallacy. Like I said, she need to go comment on voodun and santeria and shyt since she's Carribean. She has no business talking down on Black Americans; the church was and still is the corner store of the black community (whether that's a good or bad thing is an entirely different thing).
it wasn't in West Africa though. Only in Axum, and Sudan(Christian Nubia) where they chose to follow it via coptic merchants and merchants from the Levant, where as in West Africa, it was never part of the culture and forced down upon the natives and the West African slaves. Also, Christian Nubians and Ethiopians were still able to keep their culture. Slaves were completely stripped of that.

so......she should be just entertaining and not try have opinions that at least promote dialogue?

Everything she states promotes dialogue, except to nikka zombies and white people. The only two parties that don't want to "DIALOGUE" about what she states, but call her crazy and try and find faults, rather than discuss her points. Sort of what happens here on this forum.....:troll:

At the beginning of mean streets
We had what are called ATR...which are African Traditional Religion or beliefs, we never had Christiainity,Islam or Judaism, which all three has brainwashed negroes for centuries. There was no name or "MAN" put to our belief system before we came into contact with whites and arabs. We had a mixture of all three tied up into our natural beliefs and spirituality.

Nope. There were so called pagan religions, but Africans practiced the oldest and most ancient versions of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. My mother is part of the Ethiopian Orthodox Christian church, which is one of the oldest Christian churches. Y'all need to get out that fukkin bubble.

There were ancient civilizations that practiced Christianity/Islam and other religions, of which black Americans descend from.

They never called it Christianity or Islam...........Please stop......The spirituality was similar, but never had a name to it, and they never worshipped a an actual HUMAN being as some sort of GOD.......

You Christian zealots are really annoying...........

In the Ethiopian/EritreanKingdom of Aksum, King Ezana declared Christianity the official religion after having been converted by Frumentius, resulting in the foundation of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.

Ezana of Axum
(Ge'ez: ዔዛናʿĒzānā unvocalized ዐዘነ ʿzn; also spelled Aezana or Aizan) was ruler of the Kingdom of Aksum (320s – c. 360AD) located in present-day Ethiopia, Eritrea,Yemen, southern Saudi Arabia, northern Somalia, Djibouti, northern Sudan, and southernEgypt.

Ezana was the first monarch of Axum to embrace Christianity, and the first after Zoskales to be mentioned by contemporary historians, a situation that led S. C. Munro-Hay to comment that he was "the most famous of the Aksumite kings before Kaleb."[2] He appointed his childhood tutor, the Syrian Christian Frumentius, head of the Ethiopian Church. A surviving letter from the ArianRoman EmperorConstantius II is addressed to 'Ezana and his brother Se'azana, and requests that Frumentius be sent to Alexandria to be examined for doctrinal errors; Munro-Hay assumes that 'Ezana either refused or ignored this request.[3]

SLAVE MASTERS DID NOT BRING CHRISTIANITY TO AFRICA. ANYONE WHO KEEPS REPEATING THAT LIE NEEDS TO LEARN SOME HISTORY

well, to be fair she is somewhat crazy but still, you can be both irrational and discuss serious topics.

"Versions" what does that mean? That means as I stated, that the spirituality in so called "Christianity" and Islam" today and all the other "religions" on earth all have forms of ATRS(African Traditional Religions), but what you're following today in the 21st Century is a white man's and arab's slave "version"....:pachaha:

Even though Christianity existed in Africa before slavery. Its highly unlikely that slaves were Christians before being brought here. And its a fact that the form of Christianity black Americans follow today was forced into our grandparents by slave masters.

I didn't disagree that the Church is a cornerstone of the black community. But that doesn't make what azelaia said wrong.
