what would I need a time machine where their 80 year old jazz musicians who can tell you themselves

Why argue with that fool? He put me on ignore bc I made him look stupid with his whole "american culture" argument... smmfh.

We both know JIZZ is an old european slang word for semen.
Jism too, which was often spelled JASM. which meant energy and spunk.
but that word JISM (pronounced JIZM) was sometimes spelled JASM and got shortened to JAS... which phonetically turned into JAZZ....
all those words were a connotation for sex and what would happen when one got excited, which was SEMEN.
Spunk is also a word to mean lively and energetic.
SPUNK is also what comes out of ones dikk, in slang terms.
this is all english word fukkery.

Jazz the music, was something that was new and exciting to those hearing it and wanting to play it;
and Chicago is the place where the title turned frm RAGTIME music to "JAZZ" music. around 1905.
Jazz being the word to call it bc it probably got their dikk hard listening to it. who knows.
what happens when your dikk get hard?? u cum.

Jazz was black slang term for sex, everybody knows this who is into music, this is what is taught in all music history classes because the artist themselves have passed this down throughout the ages

white people would come down to the black part of town and listen to this music

and like everything else they do it becomes new to them even though its already old to blacks

look like the word twerk, white people think its a new phrase when the shyt was being used before I was born

white people still say "My bad", nikkaz stopped saying that stuff by the time I was in middle school

it still goes on today

I get your point.
but the word jasm came from jism and was thrown around as slang to mean semen. JIZZ.
The spelling JASM is a white thing, while JAZZ is not.
its the phonetical way to spell the slang word, and was the spelling amongst those who popularized the word.
just saying.

jazz is a blakk slang term from sex, and then the music... but the sound of the word came frm the european word jasm.

All the sound of the words mean nothing, the term JAZZY doesn't refer to jazz music or sex, it means fly or what a white person would say HIP

jazz was the slang term for sex used by blacks and so was rock n roll, which makes perfect sex because thats what music is for

how does the sound of the words mean nothing?
late 1800's and so on, many didnt know how to read or write and all they had was the sound of the words to learn by.
the word jazzy wasnt popular around the time the word jasm was. all my info was stating a word and how it was popular before 1905.
Chicago is where the a music genre was named "jazz"...... around 1905.
and that term for sex, like u say, came frm a european word.
jazz doesnt get it sound frm any other word than frm jasm, which in a heavy european accent was actually jism, but written down was jasm so one could read it not in the slang spoken way.

im not trying to debate with you, just trying to explain a word which meant lively and energetic in original european thought, but turned into a slang word for sex and semen.
just like the word spunk. means energy and also semen. :yeshrug:

in 1912, baseball started using the word "jazz" for the way men pitched.

It's called Slang terms that's why it doesn't matter what don't you understand

The word Bad could mean Good, or could it mean tough

The slang word Jazzy has nothing to do with Jazz

the word Jazz the way black people used it had nothing to do with anything white people were doing

But the slang term for jism/jasm meant the same thing for whites that it did for blakks.
only difference is they made it mean semen and sex... not just sex.
both used the slang term. and white people called their style ragtime JAS...
blakk people used the word JAZZ spelled in THAT fashion in chicago in 1905 to separate their jas style with the white people's style..
what dont you understand??

The lasting reputation of the afrocuban was the establishment of a new world art form that used asethetics from both European and african culture.
Which was expressed to the world first through jazz
Eventually became rap

My dear, im a music education major who didnt graduate college. i did all my music courses EXCEPT the 4 music history classes to finish my major.
dont debate me with assuming i dont know anything, when in fact i was debating where jazz originated last year on this forum and never once gave the baton to european people.
but we are debating a WORD. not a genre.
and the word JAZZ which you agreed meant sex originally, stemmed frm a europen word which also in slang meant the SAME thing.
there is no word frm the hundreds of languages in africa that sound like jazz.
it comes frm the europen word JISM/JASM. which in heavy accent sound the same. the way it is written down is a different story.
both words mean energetic and lively and in civil war slang turned into meaning sex and semen.
why are you not understanding this?
the europeans taught their language to their slaves and made the immigrants learn it too.
u agree that jazz means sex in slang, but dont agree where the word originally stems from?
which is a european slang word.

once again youa rgument makes no sense, Jazz and Jiz are two different words, every english word is derived form latin so the point is mute

the use of the word and the meaning of it, it was what matters, Jazz is not jism, if it was the way you say, and blacks also you used that the term it would be called JISM instead of Jazz

slang words are giving meaninging within the cultures it has nothing to do with the syllables or root words

Actully, english is a germanic form with most words rooting to latin... but its PROTO GERMANIC.
hence a german map maker naming us AMERICA.

jizm is another way of spelling JASM.. just like how people fukk up to and too and your and you're.

Jazz = JASM (JAZZZZMM) and they dropped the M.

i dont know why you cant agree that white people liked the word JAS and blakk people liked the word JAZZ.
both had a different style in the genre though...

German is derived from Latin too just like english, which is all the european langauges share the same characters smart guy

JIZM and JASM is not JAZZ, the fact remains

What don't you understand, they didn't call the music jism or jasm they called it JAZZ, all you doing is reaching in thin air when the fact is the slang term was Jazz that they used and that's what they called the music

and nce again you dont undestand slang

FRESH IS A EUROPEAN WORD

but in black culture fresh is a slang term that means something that orginal word does not

do you have a brain
