What the fukk are you babbling about?
Careful, you are sounding very :mjpls:

NBA Players Less Likely to Come From Poor Backgrounds, Study Says

bytch is possibly mentally retarded mixed Canadian.
Apparently they don't have racism up there. Ask my nikka @reinscarf.:sas2:

No for real though, it more of a Caribbean culture than a black culture, so ol'girl is possibly having culture shock.

Which makes no sense, because she has lived in America for decades.

Like I said before she might be mentally retarded. :francis:
My statement still stands just as strongly, but I will amend for your sake:
Most Black NBA players are wealthy income-wise, but still retain elements of poverty-culture socially. Regardless of their upbringing.
This is becoming more and more true, as the road to being an NBA player becomes more AAU and expensive-summer-camp entrenched.

That doesn't mean that the players having been raised middle-class detracts from their being steeped in poverty culture, being one-generation away from poverty simply means you are upwardly mobile, not necessarily middle-class in upbringing.

Roland Frye's data is interesting, but there are outside elements that aren't as easily measurable.

it's a catch 22 because folks want her to understand the situation but how the fukk is she gonna do that when she gotta go through the you ain't black brigade¿.........for folk who grew up in the hood you are immune to it because no matter how brightskinededed you are or your eye color or hair texture you gotta go home so nikkas telling you you ain't black becomes like radio static

now for ayesha she was brought up in cacnada then came to the states that introductory wave of "you ain't black" hit her like bricks she wasn't prepared & her head is still fukked up to this day ha it's sad

She just wants attention. She literally went from trying to play the "invisible to men card" to the "I don't fit in card" for it.

She spiraling out of control b/c she feels she isn't gassed enough in comparison to her husband. Sometimes when you go to extremes to put in that "good little housewife" facade, these types of insecurities cause you to crave validation.

She need to pursue something outside of her identity being wrapped up in her husband. A lot of dudes may not understand this dynamic of how resentment can build in a chick when she has based her entire life around another person.

For instance, its similar to how I know a lot of chicks who entered their doctoral programs married and left divorced. Their husbands felt like their own identity was becoming all about their wives.

Humans are complex like that. You have to have a strong sense of self to not get lost and start acting goofy as hell in a relationship.

Naw sis this anit it I’m let you cook thoe. If woman says or thinks I don’t want to loose my self or loose my identity in man ...she 9/10 dosent have an identity to begin with. That goes for a man/men in the so called doctoral program and their identity got wrapped up in there girls...Jesus these aren’t men and most people need to do a better job of vetting and just have a better judgment of character when it comes to people. Ayesha curry marriage I give 3 years tops. I glad she did what she did at that red table. Its been time this society pulls the curtain back on a lot things and thoughts how a women feels and what she does.

We are still acting like people don’t have eyes and can’t see the difference between mixed and black.

Ya I am sure curry’s Kids are going to be treated like any brown skinned black kids. Those kids have whiter skin than some white people.

And what does that mean you are not black enough nor white enough?? Is it people pointing the obvious that you are mixed or people ostracizing mixed race people. I don’t know what she means by that.

Ok....:mjlol:

A lot of mixed people get attention because they are mixed, but every time someone brings up they are mixed, it’s being divisive. If she was Tika Sumpter black and not Stephan Curry’s wife would there even be a thread about this girl. And she can tell her children they are black all day, those kids are going to know that socially they get different treatment than regular black kids.
