Poetical Poltergeist
Precise and cold hearted
Going to be a boring oscars, LA LA Land of the cacs gonna bring home almost all of the awards.
jeff bridges got a nomination in the supporting category
Serves me right for writing angry Oscar snub rants while I'm supposed to be working.jeff bridges got a nomination in the supporting category
I was hoping Ben Foster would get a nom. He went hard as Tanner.Chris pine should've gotten some love
It will probably be the worst ratings ever. but i will own 5 of those flicks on bluray. more than I can say for any other year :smugnolan:Going to be a boring oscars, LA LA Land of the cacs gonna bring home almost all of the awards.
just curious, but which? which of these movies are you gonna want to own to watch again and again? It will probably be the worst ratings ever. but i will own 5 of those flicks on bluray. more than I can say for any other year :smugnolan:
For sure, and I think the film is good. I just think that such a late entry should not get consideration like this. It just seems unfair to me.Well that's the beauty of opinion and discussion. I thin it's an extremely well done flick, with a good message, great performances, well directed and well written. Now most of us know its probably not going to win but to say it's just a good oscar bait film feels a touch disrespectful towards it. Obviously thats your opinion though and I'm not going to change it or even try to. I just disagree. Let's not act like the movie is Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close though in terms of quality or deserving props

Did anyone even watch that Loving shyt, was it any good?
*Goes back to not giving a shyt about Oscars*
True but I feel like if this is the route they were going, then Loving should have been the pick, although from what I am hearing it ran out of steam after the film festivals ended. Oh well. Seems like they're being conscious to media criticism. They released it before the cut off date. It happens every year. It got a limited release for Christmas, just like Selma, and got in. They did the same thing with Argo and live by night. I don't see that as unfair at all if it's well within the rules
