not being able to romance Giatta is tragic

Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed no romance involved in this game. I really wanna smash Giatta
Downloaded it on gamepass, If you played NV with mods you will feel right at home so far.
I haven't played PS5 Pro for 3 days because of Avowed. I freaking love Avowed 
. It would be nice to release it on PS5 Pro. Avowed shytty on boring Starfield. However, the graphics were disappointing in Avowed. It's not next-gen graphics, but it's cool though, because I have fun with this game.
I don't get why some people not like this game cause of the reviews. I know it's no Skyrm but still dope game.

Nostalgia goggles tricked some people but to me this feels a lot like New Vegas just in a fantasy world

But I am loving it for some reason. Got like 20 hours in it which is a lot for me. Think I’m bout done with the first area. Just having a good time in the world which I didn’t expect. Definitely not my favorite art style but I don’t mind it.
Just finished the first act. Satisfying ending to it, at least for me 
Explored the second area a bit and did a couple side quests I (quite literally) fell into. That’s it for the night. Should’ve went to bed 2 hours ago. No idea why this game resonates with me so much but it’s a good time.
In the first act make sure you do the bounties. The bounty for the pirate dude south east of Paradis, that dude gives you a pretty awesome pistol. And the bounty for the big hulking dude gives you a 2 handed hammer that has some nice upgrades. Think you can get it an enchantment to give you 30% more move speed after a kill. So you’re just zipping around flinging bodies left and right. So satisfying.

what weapons y'all currently using?
i'm using the last light of day sword [10% bonus fire damage, killing an enemy restores 10% of my max health] with the sun and moon shield [slowly regenerate max health 30% during the day and at night slowly regenerate up to 30% max essence]
and
Giants Slumber [successful parry gives 20% move speed and 20% dodge distance for 20 seconds] with the beetles bulwark shield [below 75% health a successful parry summons a beetle to fight with me and 20% resistance to fire accumulation]

I only use the latter when the enemies auto focus me in tight spaces. I prefer magic but itd hard to pull off when my team can maintain aggro or get 3 shot by fodder enemies. That shark nikka don't do shyt. My strategy is to burst everyone down before that shark dies then ignore him while me and the remaining companion clean up.
By the time I got to the end of the game I had a mace that cast an antigravity spell when you did that special combo when you fill the stun meter.
