You're assuming people aren't interacting with others humans because they have qualms with 21st century. That's a very big jump. Most people are still "trying", that's why they have the stories they have. Some people will play the sideline but everyone isn't cut out for the game.

This may be a difference in gender and resulting perspectives, men have to be more cerebral than not as consequence is typically a bigger thing for us. We always have to figure out if a particular glass of juice is worth the squeeze or not, and that doesn't just apply to women/relationships. Many men with no options can work towards trying to be somebody's boyfriend, and any man with options can just pick one and "settle down". The question for each man is "is it worth it?"

No I’m not assuming. Social skills have definitely taken a nosedive in the 21st century for a number of reasons.

And women also ask those questions many times. But none of that excuses overthinking and exaggerating nonsense to avoid dealing with social awkwardness.

I'm just now checkin this thread.

It got me reminising on my best relationships. They have always been with the slightly above avg women... (granted I've had legit models starting back in highschool) So this is saying something. That "something" is that we need to learn to get out of our ego/entightlement and realize that the looks are fleeting, but the chemistry is what realy matters. We can build from there and be legit happy.

So you don’t think that social skill deficits, communication skill problems, issues with anxiety, self-esteem, entitlement, internet echo chambers, exaggerations of woe is me scenarios, and crippling awkwardness, porn addiction and solitary lifestyles and media addiction doesn’t factor into many having less sex, and less social human interaction?
It’s even impacting employment and professional networking abilities. Much less connections as complicated as romantic relationships.
