it's been rumored or the current predictions is that TDKR could debut at $190 for the 1st weekend. that's a strong up and under game right there.

if it DOES reaches around that number, then the debate would be more in relation of the number of TICKETS sold and not how much it grossed and that's because of the 3D sales. the chances of more people flocking to see TDKR the 1st weekend out appears highly likely... but we will see.

Hence why GI Joe 2 was delayed over a year to make it 3D.

False, the movie was delayed because they wanted to add more scenes with Channing Tatum, who wasn't well known when the first movie dropped, but blew up between then and the sequel filming.

And to the people that keep saying "Nolan hates 3D!"....ok, and? They go by gross....3D makes more money....he chose not to use 3D, therefore, his movie will most likely make less money. It is what it is.

This movie was getting so much hype that I was hesitant to see it. Last time that happened, I gave in and went to see Avatar

But this move was pretty good. I even saw it twice
