pretty good movie. never read any of the comics or watched any of the cartoons before but this movie was good. Usually in action movies I think the "action/fight" scenes are done just to be done, but I actually enjoyed them in this movie. esp when the heroes were fighting each other. The dialogue between them was also very good.

Question, why did black widow look so emotional when banner yelled at her? looked like she was gonna cry when she was holding her gun at him. was she just genuinely scared he would hulk up on her?

But this movie got me to thinking about a Justice League movie. I know way more about those characters and the Avengers, and I would assume most non comic book heads would also. A movie with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Martin Martian, and Green Lantern should be even bigger.

sidenote it would be cool to see a Justice League vs Avengers battle, feels like WWF vs WCW back in the day.

Seen this last night.

Loved it. Hulk stole the show in the battle etc but as usual RDJ stole every scene he was in.

Captain America is lame though. Didn't like his individual movie either tbh.

Loki is a cool villain, shame about how they did him in the end though:pachaha:

:childplease:

It's a movie.

And Thanos playing those mind games. Wanted to check Loki's strategy and see how the Avengers would do.

Yup, I think The Avengers gonna get their ass-whipped in the sequel. I think it's gonna be like Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back type sequel, where the villian wins and they take him down in the 3rd movie.

i still don't understand the back and forth between avengers and tdk...

of course avengers is going to make more money than tdk it has 3 MAIN superhero's and a whole bunch of other superheros that are just chilling in the background.

that triliogy will make more money than batman period because it came after batman... but that doesn't necessarily make it a better movie. no one had no legendary preformances and if they did we can wait when the academy awards drop to see what the avengers get mentioned in...

with that being said don't compare the two. they are apples in oranges because they both have different visions. batman at least to me appears to be more "real" film and avengers is a "comic" book movie

The problem with this logic is, "TDK" is far from the best "real" film...."The Avengers" is easily the best comic book movie. I like both equally but the difference is "The Avengers" actually 100% nailed what it was going for.

Yeah I agree. I love the Nolan Batman movies but after this 3rd one I'm ready for a new angle. Nolan's is almost TOO real to the point where the villains almost seem silly, which is crazy for a comic book film. I have to say after seeing Avengers a few times that it takes the throne for me :pachaha:

I know yall saw Thanos in the credits, but while watching the government talk about collateral damage done by the Avengers, did any of you think about the Civil War storyline being a possible next sequel? They did kinda focus the whole news reel collage at the end on how/if responsible the heros are for what happened. Plus Nick Fury's bosses were insistent about keeping tabs on the Avengers.

would not make sense since all the heroes id's are known and they work for the UN.

What was that $10 scene about?

Back when Nick Fury met Capt America in the Gym, Capt America said "Nothing Surprises me anymore." Nick Fury responded: "wanna bet ten dollars?"

Something like that.

btw My lil cousins b'day is this weekend and i promised him i'd take him to this movie. This will be my fourth time:snoop:
