You have to understand Disney literally put as much money as they could behind advertising the avengers because it was either go big or go home...


I wonder why wb is so quiet. Maybe because they have a track record and they don't feel like they need to push it as much. But obviously I feel like the more advertising the better chances it has to match the avengers... Since Disney literally controls everything it has a huge advantage that's why most Disney movies do so well especially if Disney store products are involved.

Finally watched it earlier today....at the end of the movie, everyone in the theater gave it a standing ovation. Interesting. Everything was on point in this...Hulk really wrecked shop, Thor was a difference maker and that was MADE clear throughout, Iron Man's genius was really on display, Cap's leadership definitely on some NEXT LEVEL shyt, Widow and her manipulative interrogation tactics were hilarious....Iron Man had some great one liners and most of the shyt with the Hulk was funny for one reason or another. Loki talking all dominant and then Hulk SONNED the shyt out of him in record time

And of course the main event is in the sequel with the debut of Thanos on film.

pretty good movie. never read any of the comics or watched any of the cartoons before but this movie was good. Usually in action movies I think the "action/fight" scenes are done just to be done, but I actually enjoyed them in this movie. esp when the heroes were fighting each other. The dialogue between them was also very good.

Question, why did black widow look so emotional when banner yelled at her? looked like she was gonna cry when she was holding her gun at him. was she just genuinely scared he would hulk up on her?

But this movie got me to thinking about a Justice League movie. I know way more about those characters and the Avengers, and I would assume most non comic book heads would also. A movie with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Martin Martian, and Green Lantern should be even bigger.


sidenote it would be cool to see a Justice League vs Avengers battle, feels like WWF vs WCW back in the day.

She's self reliant and her skills almost wasn't enough when he snapped and almost broke her in half.

Cuz it's an IMAX 3D release.

If you gonna go to the theaters and pay for a movie, might as well do it right. IMAX >>>> *. Granted, IMAX doesn't always mean the movie is in 3D and unfortunately, this was a post-production 3D film, so the 3D itself wasn't exactly top notch (wasn't bad at all tho) but if it's playing in IMAX theaters and its an action movie why would one choose otherwise? Anything less is uncivilized.

-funniest moment was when they were having a heated argument. Then everyone left and the one SHIELD worker goes back to playing computer games

-loved the tense dynamic between CAP and Tony.

-Ultimate Fury don't really like to get his hands dirty. 616 Fury would've been in the battle too.

My b/f was breaking down the geekness of how EPIC the next Avengers movie will be.
He broke out this damn comic book where Thanos was taking on damn near everybody. Including Spidy and Fantastic 4.
So my question is if they do base the next movie on this particular story. How da hell are they going to do that with other studios owning diff parts of these franchises?.
