Lol @ at Fred getting hyped about these lame ass movie quotes stop. You jocking the film a lil too hard. I see y'all nikkas ran with that trilogy post that I put up and I didn't even get any rep. Smh
The old man that stood up to Loki was thugged out. "There's always men like you".
Fred you son of a bytch, didn't I tell you like 5 or 6 different times that Thanos would be in the movie as a post-credit glimpse? But you kept insisting that wouldn't be the case...I was right, you were wrong.
Carry on.
And that line was about Red Skull

People been getting hyped about lines from the movie for 20+ pages before I even came here. The fukk are we supposed to discuss? It's "The Avengers" thread.
People like the movie, you're coming off like a disgruntled DC fan boy. Especially with that "TDK was a film, Avengers was a movie!" nonsense. If you think "TDK" is some kinda cinematic high water mark you don't watch many movies.
Fred.
You linked a comic book website and were saying he would be the film's primary antagonist, I told you it would be a post-credit type thing and you dismissed it. Accept that you were wrong.
If we're talking about who was right or wrong, I was the first person on SOHH to say Thanos would be in the movie at all. Like a year ago. And nobody believed me.
Seriously? C'mon son.
No it wasn't. If you didn't see Cap's movie you wouldn't even get the line, if what you're saying is true. Everyone knows who Hitler is.
Fred.

And the line is definitely about Skull. In this continuity Cap never even met Hitler, why would it be about him? He met Skull, who considered himself not just a superior human, but a god. Did you even see Captain America?
As for people not understanding the line, duh, if they didn't see it they wouldn't get it. Just like they didn't get Thor saying his brother was "adopted" or Banner saying last time he was in NYC he "destroyed Harlem". There were little references all throughout the movie that only people who have seen the previous films would get.
You're a dumbass sometimes, Fred.
at people saying "it should be a trilogy". Um, it is a trilogy. The same sh*t is gonna be discussed and revealed across "Thor", "Captain America" and "The Avengers". They could reveal things about it in "Thor" and "Captain America" then in "The Avengers" movie have Thanos pop up. They could have him pop up at the end of one of those movies, like they been doing with the little Easter Eggs at the tail end.
That's not even counting other random Marvel movies that might pop up before these 3 movies are complete. There is ample time and space to tell a decent Infinity Gauntlet story. Whether or not they can pull it off, who knows?
Fred.
