Anyone saying this was better than TDK is delusional but it was very good and FUN. TDK is much deeper and better storywise. The action in Avengers and the characters were all awesome. They really nailed The Hulk, dude was terrifying

It really depends on how people weigh different aspects of movies. Some people, not necessarily me, go to see a super hero movie for action and weigh it heavier than deep story for instance.

I don't really know which was better since they really almost seem like they're in different genres to me. "Super hero movie" just isn't specific enough to be a genre if movies as different as The Avengers and TDK can both be in it.

Honestly, if anything the movie made Loki look like more of a chump than he is in the comics. Loki is a major villain in that universe and they made him look like a complete chump.

If Thanos is in the next one, they need to spread it out like Lord of the Rings. they can't introduce and kill him off after ONE movie. Thanos needs at least two movies to throw his weight around.


Further more, the ONLY thing I didn't like about the movie was in the previews where Stark says "if we can't protect the earth, we'll avenge it". That would lead one to believe that the aliens got the upper hand and took sh1t over. As it turned out they got their asses handed to them and they couldn't even get outside of manhattan.
