Avengers is the most overrated, over hyped movie since Avatar.

I kinda agree.Looking back, it could've been better.



I think they did a decent job....It was mildly entertaining.



In fact, I'm willing to give them a pass on this one.Even though each one of the characters had their own flicks leading up to the "assemble", they still had to spend most of the film forming the Avengers into a cohesive unit.....a team




So, with that, I'm willing to hold off on my criticism.Judging by most recent Comic Book films, the sequels usually turn out the best.



Look at Xmen 2....Spiderman 2...etc




With the Avengers already formed as a team, I expect the sequel to be mind blowing.



Another thing I didn't like about the movie was the Hulks design.The fukk he acting like a Gorilla for?



I like that they gave him some personality, but the Ed Norton Hulk was designed better

The Avengers was just a comic movie done right and thats what the fans wanted all along. People werent expecting some masterpiece of cinema, just give me the comic on the big screen and ill be good.

I feel sorry if you didn't enjoy those movies. Eat a weed brownie and see Avatar in IMAX 3D i felt like I was transported to another world. Still the most impressive use of 3d in a film to date.

this, I think its fairly obvious that the movie gets by on visuals
rather than an epic storyline

Since when did Superhero movies have to have Godfather type plots and dialogue? It was the best experience I've had in the theater in awhile. I actually feel like I cheated them only paying 10 bucks for my ticket.

the avengers is a enjoyable campy comic book movie and the batman trilogies are the complete opposite, which in my mind makes them completely incomparable. i value plot and character development over mindless enjoyment which is why i enjoyed batman begins and the dark knight over the avengers.

Plot was cliche and had no substance...I guarantee Nolan could have made Avengers like 10x better...I don't fukk with TDK cause it's 'dark' but because the plot isn't paper thin and most importantly there is realistic character development
