Nah man, they just need a legit villain. We've seen Loki already, I never believed he was a threat to the Avengers. But Thanos..... shyt just got real!
But yeah, definitely need less of those Transformer/Battle of LA/Battleship type scenes. I want more scenes like when Hulk (part 1) fought the gamma dogs, or when Thor, Iron Man and Cap were fighting. Most of it will have to be CGI but as long as it's top notch CGI we're good!

Heres the thing. With a movie like the avengers, you can't only do so much within a 2 1/2 hour movie. If you want to keep it 100 all of the movies leading up to The Avengers felt rushed and lacked depth. At the end of the day. I think The Avengers was geared more towards introducing characters in Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Captian America. They slowly push in Nick Fury and Black Widow. Now you tie them all together in one flick. Now that the masses are familiar with the characters, hopefully the studios will go with a more "mature" script/dialogue.

I went into this movie wanting to love it. I saw it in 3D opening night. I wanted to be blown away. I wasn't. I was witness to a two and a half hour movie that was all been there, done that.
I've noticed people have to stoop to lame personal attacks then respond to critiscms of the movie. As if critics aren't people and can't be run over by hype like anyone else.
Name one classic cinema moment in this film that will be remembered 50 years from now to justify the rabid fan boyism over the film. You can't because it doesn't exist.

Iron man was the only legitimately dope movie from all the films leading up to it. Iron man 2 was mediocre and big let down.
As for accusations of dark knight fan, yeah, I love the dark knight it's a great film. But I'm not sure how that movie is relevant to the discussion. The films are nothing alike. I can like more then one film at a time, I'm not a 12 year old geek with anti social behavior that needs to validate my own existence by stanning an object, film or person. Those type of people disgust me. It's like, why would I Stan nintendo,Sony or Microsoft when I'm an adult who can own all three? Some people need friends.

I think the problem with ANY super hero movie shot in modern times is the villian has to be defeated in every movie. there can never be a proper to be continued type situation like the lord of the rings. I think they gonna fukk up Thanos. They gonna make him weaker than in the comics etc. And yes, The Avengers has poor replay value over the course of the entire movie. It has great "moments" but David Banner only turned into the Hulk twice, Thor was a god damn side kick for several parts of the movie, Hawkeye screen time was meh and Captian America's suit is... dated. He looks goofy in that tight shyt Superman and Spiderman are really the only ones that can get away with wearing tight ass costumes.
