And word is its on pace to make less than $200 million in china in total and will finish around $420 million in the us,$200 million less than the first avengers.
It'll make about as much as the first Avengers because of overseas expansion but it won't come close to the domestic number and the reason for that is because they didn't give us anything new. They stuck with the formula which is fine while it's working but soon Marvel will have to get more creative to keep it going.

Just saw this today, went in with low expectations because Thecoli word of mouth
and shyt was just as enjoyable as the first. Obviously had to set some shyt up for future movies but I thought it was well handled.

That's how it even got a release date. It would have been straight to video if he didn't one himself.
Straight to dvd with a $30 million production budget? Not likely.
And even if that was true, it still flopped fresh off his death.

OK, but to act like him dying didn't help Furious 7 financially is disingenuous.
If you take out tokyo drift which was basically a spin off, every film has made more than the last.
Im not denying him dying had an impact but its over stated.
The real two biggest factors are China and this being the first ff film released in 3D(everywhere outside if NA).
3D hugely inflates box office numbers.
It made more money on its first day in china(68 million) then ff6 made its entire run. And its made $390 million in china now.
Those 2 reasons far outweigh paul walkers death.
You take the extra $350 million it made in china, add another say $200 million made because of 3D and the fact the franchise keeps getting bigger anyway and thats the difference between ff6 & 7
