Whoa, I don't know which way to go with this but initial reaction is it of all the possibilities in the comic bag arsenal they have why this route?
RDJ as Stark/Iron Man had the great conclusion with End Game. The fact they announced him as VVD this soon rather than make it a movie reveal/twist seems like their ploy to guarantee the next Avengers gets hype when there's not really any key new cogs they'll be able to add and sell to it by 2026.
Interested to see how they pull off this storyline though.

The writing has sucked. The people I mentioned didn't wait to see these movies or shows before deciding these projects were trash. So I do think calling out a segment of the "fanbase" that keeps doing the same thing is accurate.

Because, like you said, we WATCHED these projects. Have you ever left a review of something without experiencing it? I haven't. It's literally proven that a lot of these projects got review bombed well before release. These movies didn't suck because they were diverse. They sucked because they were poorly produced, written, and directed. Kevin Fiege is the one that should be getting all the smoke.

It's not dissing the actor it's literally there's 1000 qualified folks for the role (Cillian, Mads, dude from GOT, any random BBC/Shakespeare actor) it's like they didn't even try man.
