Oh man, Chadwick 100% would’ve been the hero to lead the new Avengers in the Multiverse Saga had he not passed away.
I guess T’challa yet again won’t share the big screen with one of his rivals. First Namor now DOOM crazy.
Thats the craziest and most offensive shyt to me. You “retire” T’Challa, the greatest black comic superhero of ALL TIME due to one actors untimely death (RIP Chadwick Boseman) but can have variants of Doom/Stark running around like its nothing.
I mean, Downey is a dope actor so I think he could potentially give us an interesting Victor Von Doom. But these type of movies tend to be more about hype and marketing so I'm not putting much faith in the MCU keeping RDJ under a mask and letting him cook as Doom. It would have to take all four of Downey, the Russos and Feige not wanting to go the safe way ("Tony Stark as Doom, go to the theater to see it!") and I'm gonna be skeptical about it until the movie is finally out tbhAs long as he isn't playing himself as Doom, it works. Stark had a life and personality that mirrored RDJ's, so it was natural. RDJ will have to play the anti-Stark version of Doom.
And if you can't see them as different characters, that's really on you. But, damn that bag must've been hefty
Problem with that is you would have ran the risk of RDJ overshadowing the main big bad even that wasn’t the plan. The thing is you could have KEPT Kang and still had RDJ as Emperor Doom.
He was rumored to be in the movies anyway and him being Emperor Doom would be a nice side character. Making him the main focus is just so rushed.
They must really be resetting the MCU completely after 2027.
“Looks I’m truly the Man of Iron.”You already know they will.
And this is the biggest problem to me. Even as someone who loved Wakanda Forever.Oh man, Chadwick 100% would’ve been the hero to lead the new Avengers in the Multiverse Saga had he not passed away.
I feel like they’re still trying to find out who that person is supposed to be. We’ll see what Mackie can do next year as Cap though.
