Who cares?
You asked the question about Messi and I answered, now you taking your ball and going home cause you know not a single NFL player could transition.
But in the end, why would Messi take such a massive paycut to play a niche sport
Who cares?
Cause the NBA requires being proficient with a ball. And also has an average height of 6'5". You're limiting athleticism to what you can do with a ball in your handsIf NFL players are the best athletes, why can't they transition
Shutup nikka.actually I just about thot about it, this happens all the time in the nba as welll.......
Depenidng on the coaching:
Undersized centers become pf's.....
PG's become SG's
SG's become PG's
SF's become SG's
etc.....
Doesn't always workout, the only reason its more frequent in the nfl is because there's more positions to swap from.....
But a PG isn't going play the 5, unless they're on some LBJ or NBA 2k myplayer steeze.
Just like an offensive linemen isnt going magically start doing kickoffs or play safety....

Shutup nikka.
There ain't no limits
Average height is 6'7" by the way
Nigerian excellence
NBA players are anomalies when it comes to height
There ain't no limits
Average height is 6'7" by the way
Real talk. Soccer was my first love. Personally, as much as I'm caping for football there's no way I'm letting my son play past like 6th grade. Concussions are no joke. I'm giving my son a soccer ball, a basketball, and a tennis racket. Love watching football but Ima let another persons son do thatActually, that's because he has a base in the Real Football, if you want your child to be a good athlete start them off with the beautiful game If you can dribble a ball with your feet, you can pick up any sport.
You NFL stans crack me up
*girl walks in front of the tv, gettin her model on in some lingeré*
Dude: "bytch, get out the way! Im tryna watch the combine!!!"
(Later during the season, his girl let's him have his Sundays all to himself to watch football, while she fukks his friend who is a casual football fan)
No one is denying that the NFL has incredible athletes.
What we're saying is that the game takes very little skill outside of 2 positions (QB/kickers.)
Cream of the crop athletes from every sport could come into the NFL for tryouts and have a legitimate shot because the sport requires so little skill. But even the freakiest of the NFL's freak athletes couldn't just walk onto an NBA court, an NHL rink, an EPL pitch, because those sports require immense amounts of skill that're cultivated over years on top of being athletic.
Then how come track stars don't become top wrs? Any 300 pounder should be an all-pro left tackle.
Cool.....
Odell Beckham vertical - 38.5"
Jordan Farmar vertical - 42.0" (Farmar is taller too )
What am I supposed to be seeing here?
Am I supposed to be impressed?
He couldn't cut it in basketball, switched over to Football with very little training and is a star, thank you for helping me
46" vertical, couldn't even make the NBA, he should have tried out for the NFL since he's 6'5" and jumps higher than anyone that has ever played in it.
Gronk would be a better basketball player than football player?
He's 6'7" 255lbs and is called "undersized" for the NBA, he's a better athlete than Gronk as highlighted by that struggle dunk you showed
6'5" 260lbs and far more explosive than that shytty dunk of Gronk These guys could have transitioned to football like Gates, Gonzalez or Graham, but they can make more money playing in the NBA. We know for a fact guys that played basketball and are around 6'5-6'7" and 230-260lbs can make the switch to TE in football, that is a fact, everything you've posted is assumption. The undersized NBA power forward is 6'7" 245-260lbs with a 35-40" vertical, Gronk had a 33" vertical.....the perfect NFL TE is probably in the NBA right now and doesn't even know it.
@ Real Football, sorry but the shyt with the odd shaped ball is not real football, and it's far from global. It's participation rates are under 3 million globally, meanwhile the real football is played by 2.6 billion people, while roughly 1 billion people have played basketball fukk otta here. Nobody outside of the US gives a fukk about handegg, 98% of the viewers for the Superbowl were in the US, the other 2% was from Canada & US bases abroad.
Every fast player isn't a great wide receiver. Its pure hate to say the NFL positions don't require skill. Every position is a specialist, as opposed to the NBA where everyone does the same thing, basketball is a much more simple game w less moving parts. Its like checkers vs chess.Track stars stand to make more money just running on the circuit and killing endorsements, why would Usain Bolt play football when he makes $21 million a year and does like 10 events a year. Work smarter, not harder.
