I know the internet hates Christianity but removing R&B from it's church/gospel roots has killed it. Singing gospel/church songs requires a powerful voice and powerful voices make the best music. MAYBE studio magic could work that out but the content of today's so called R&B is laughable. Thug ballads? Bad performers plus bad content equals the cesspool of shyt on the radio.
