Yeah I miss that early soulful Trey...but that Trey is a way better singer to me than Alsina,this album did remind me of a mix of current Trey and old Trey though.

Why should he if they're going to lose money?

If Def Jam is losing money on this project then they're doing something wrong. Imo 50k-60k should be enough to recoup. They're not giving million dollar budgets anymore. By the end of the life cycle this should sell over 150k copies

Breaking down the numbers I don't see how or why they would spend more than $300k-$400k on this project and that's on the high-end

I think he said he had a lot of his album done before he even got to defjam if I recall correctly. He did about the same as YG,i still think Def Jam fuked that project up,seems like its a lot of singles left on it....YG aint the most charismatic salesman either,or even all that interesting of a interview so that's a challenge tryna sell em,but that music should speak for itself...When a sidechick bought me a copy,quickest way to a mans heart is with a classic cd

50,000 copies X $10 = $500,000 - $250,000 budget = $250,000 and after paying everybody out then left with $150,000 and anymore sells are gravy.
