1.Im not a lawyer , but its a shytty deal and it was negotiated in "good faith" by people representing the interests of a man who doesn't want an entire race of people in his arena, it doesn't seem impossible that that could void a contract.

2.alright fine. Say they win the league, what positive things is anyone going to be able to take away from the moment CP3 and sterling embrace each other and celebrate onstage with the trophy? "See kids if you accept being treated as a second class citizen you can achieve your dreams"
THAT WILL NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER, HAPPEN AT THIS POINT

In all honesty, nothing will change.

This should make racist ppl see how ignorant/backwards their thinking is, but it won't.

All it does is make them think Sterling is an idiot for allowing himself to get caught and embarrassed like this.

There are some white ppl that really & truly believe they are superior ppl b/c everything in the world caters to them, every CEO you see in America is white, etc. It's flawed thinking and it won't change for many of them.

I understand the point you're trying to make but that statement is false. For example the Mcdonald's CEO is black.

Just so they can't run with that false narrative.:screamina:

This situation will test what type of balls your team has.

If they were SMART / Prideful nikkas: They WOULD NOT boycott... They would shyt on Sterling PUBLICALLY, ON CAMERA.... And THEN go out and win the next 2 games by 30 points....

If somebody talk shyt to or slapped your Mamma, or you gonna ball up like a bytch and fold, or black the fukk out and do something with a purpose?

If the Clips LOSE THIS SERIES after this shyt, you should find another team to root for anyway.... Because they are obviously GUTLESS bytches with no spine, backbone or DIGNITY.... That's IF they lose the series....

I wouldn't be surprised if they rallied around this and went out and Won the Title now.... Time will tell what your boys are made of. If they don't win this series at least, then they never had the stuff to be a Champion anyway... So it's a no lose situation for you, if you're smart and look at it from the right perspective.
That's easy to say though. I don't know what to expect tomorrow against the Warriors. I hear what you're saying though. Either they use this as a rallying point or it crushes their spirit and they fall off. Honestly, if we falter and were to somehow lose the series.. I wouldn't even be mad at the players. The owner of the team just said he doesn't want your kind at the games. That's devastating breh. We have no Larry O'Brian's, banners, final appearances to have a winning backbone in the first place. This whole run could be uncharted territory for us. I want them to make a stand but they should play on though. You can't let this piece of sh*t owner ruin your legacy and all the hard work you've put in over the years. Hopefully Silver will step in asap

There are other ways to handle this appropriately without having to boycott the games

They could publicly shyt on Sterling, say they arent playing for him, playing for themselves and go out and win a title

Its easy for everyone sitting behind their computers to just say, "boycott".

Have some fukking perspective here :snoop:

This is the PERFECT opportunity for newly appointed comish Silver to step in and handle this before the players feel the need to put themselves in a tough spot

Of course its difficult to just boycott the games.

You just a small thinking fool if you think otherwise.
if Ali can go to jail and have his titles vacated then clippers players can bite the fukking bullet and sit out of a fukking game :pacspit:

We had a meeting a lot of things and emotions came out, we realized why we don't agree with the owner , we will continue to play for the fans of all races the city and community. That will be our only comments regarding this matter, we have a game to get ready for.

My Pops Forever RIP
Joe Paterno and the Penn State administration had similar rational to the warped out look of what's more important in life, they chose sports. History will affirm that they were wrong. On that 30 for 30, I forgot which university team from the 50's or 60's that was willing to forfeit the entire championship run, if the one or two black players that was on the team was some how discriminated against

Sure, but I can't put the players in that hot seat and fault them if they don't make the decision we want.

Sterling's BEEN a know bigot, but players knew this. If they didn't have a platinum set of balls to avoid Sterling and his team at all costs then, it's not gonna all of a sudden happen now in the middle of the playoffs.

If they wanna do what it takes to leave that situation (if they can, a lot of those guys are locked up a long time), then no one will blame them, but I also understand if they wanna continue to play as a team.

you cosign the owner if you continue to play for him. what does a ship mean if you're directly supporting a racist in the process? thats your dream? smh MLK rolling over in his grave. the faster the players take a stand and boycott this, the faster the league gets him out. if these nikkas play the game, that just shows you were they stand. they just want money and fame and dont give a damn about real issues and causes. they dont care about being cotton pickers for their slave master. i cant believe this even has to be discussed, these players cant be this dumb. DONT fukkING PLAY TILL STERLING IS OUT
exactly, if im CP3/Doc Rivers/any black man on that team

im not playing one more game for that nikka, wouldn't even suit up

Blacks don't roll over and take L's. They got no media breh. They out in bigger numbers than Gays by far. Trayvon marches shytted on most marches in the last 20 years. The million man march is huge in numbers. Let's took it 100%. Gays are cacs. Jews are cacs. Cacs support cacs and practice White Supremacy. Blacks can't practice White Supremacy because it is directly v. us.
marches do nothing. you gotta hit where it hurts, the wallet. breh it doesnt get any bigger than NBA playoffs, this is your media, get on live tv and boycott. just imagine what would happen if these athletes united and took a stand :ohlawd: the league will be forced to take immediate action.

but these c00n players will do nothing. they'll keep playing, keep making their master rich..and nothing will change. and other racists will :whew: and continue their bigoted ways.

CLIPPERS NEED TO DO THE RIGHT THING.

Ultimately, it didn't come down to the athletes making that decision. This is something the NBA is going to have to take a stance on.
Which decision?
But the NBA did nothing in the past about the same owner. Partly because he's a billionaire owner and partly because no black players of prominence made it an issue
