@HankHill is gonna post underground shyt from the 70s and 80s to counter this question. Where you at whiteboy

First off son, I'm not white. You're showing your true colors by essentially holding your beliefs to a standard that one cannot be black and think your inane theory holds any water.

Second of all you've never proven there's an actual link to "negative/toxic/genocide" black music to the black communities that have been afflicted with DECADES of violence and drug abuse.

But see again, you delude or astray from your original talking points by then stating that it's all this big Jewish conspiracy by simply posting videos that ironically enough don't even dwell on your usual nonsensical, putrid argument.

And no, you posting videos by Dr. Boyce Watkins (an economist, not a psychiatrist or psychologist, ironically a dude who couldn't stop his own kids from listening to Tyler The Creator) and Jeremaine Shoemaker as a plea so you can't string together your usual sensationalist rhetoric.

You think so low of black people that we have to be shielded from entertainment that's essentially johnny come lately in regards to what's occurring in our communities.

You seriously are no different from white parents blaming Marilyn Manson and violent video games for school shootings Post-Columbine, or the PMRC trying to censor heavy metal music in the 80's.

Come to think of it :ohhh: you have the EXACT same rhetoric and mentality that whites in the 50's had about black music. Like I swear I recall a scene in the movie Ray Charles to be exact where he was arrested because his work was looked at as "poison" to white kids.

Ain't nobody getting arrested today, cause the powers that be don't give a shyt about the black youth being "poisoned" by some shyt music.

I honestly don't get how dudes can be so protective of the shyt on the radio today, it's pure garbage. The stuff that the masses are getting is straight trash, it's not like this thread is about the potential negative impact of Kendrick Lamar and J. Coles work, even Drake isn't that bad as far as subject matter. It's the garbage like Future and Fetty Wap that gets played over and over again that is a problem, this nikka like 30 years old and wants to try lean cause of rap :dead:

@PhonZhi i wanna ask you a question cause there is a bit of confusion. I already know the answer but still. Do you solely blame rap music for the current state of affairs in our communities ?

I guess you need statistical evidence that supports the that the claim sky is indeed blue.
Seeing color is a matter of perception. We see blue because of the way certain wavelengths stimulate cones in the retina. You see color with your brain. You probably think your tongue is pink, but pink isn't a real color idiot.

think of systemic oppression as a pie chart:

pie-sample.png

Rap music is filed under "media propaganda". Imagine Media Propaganda in the yellow and whatever else you want for the other colors.

Are you aware of Media Propaganda as a tool of white systemic oppression?

Are you aware of brainwashing techniques used to keep a people docile and in-check like i mentioned before thats been going on since slavery?

Do you think a "change" will ever occur for the black race if our overall mentality/consciousness is stuck where its currently at??

Are you aware that a whole bunch of "little things in totality" makes up systemic oppression?

This "bigger issue" that you speak of is that entire pie chart above. Media propaganda, which includes toxic hiphop plays a part in that "bigger issue". The brainwashing of our race is a HUGE problem

Let me put it this way:

If a rap song inspires someone to go out and kill another person/do drugs/etc..., there is a fundamental issue occurring there that has nothing to do with the music. I simply believe that the focus should be on that fundamental issue.

:pachaha:You ain't slick not at all you've still have yet to recover from the response earlier in this thread that absolutely destroyed you when you attempted to move goal post by implying that op and the like suggested that rap music was the sole cause of dysfunction within the black community. Ironically the bad parent argument is moot considering the fact that technology is even more advanced now then back then and the parents were still having a hard time in the age of tapes and cd's. So honestly when the internet is everywhere how can they not hear bullshyt when the overwhelming majority of mainstream rap is negative so what would cutting down on that type of music accomplish ........progress as in one less problem to worry about in the rehabilitation of blacks.

Where did he destroy anything?

Like you seriously just came into this conversation, and added nothing.

And to counter your point, in 2015 with said advanced technology a parental unit could in fact deter or at the least limit said exposure to content they would deem inappropriate.

And again, you're not paying close enough attention: Op not only took that quote out of context, he also isn't doing shyt about the problem.

nikka getting geeked off of a conversation, but adds zero to it. :mjlol:
