The real question here is whether the RTX 3090 is just 10% faster than the RTX 3080? And if so, why? The first answer that comes to mind is that the amount of core increase that we saw in the 3000 series is too large for software to keep up with. Recently, the benchmark leaks of RTX 3090 also showed that the high-end Nvidia GPU is just 19% to 20% faster than RTX 3080.

All those benchmarks are for old games where new cards never perform their potential on old games until driver updates

When cyberpunk comes out you will see the 3080 easily run at 4k 60fps with all settings maxed out and the 20 series will struggle with the game, and you will see it is a huge leap

the 3090 is has faster memory and vram, which people will use to do create content like computer animation, and complex 3D rendering

the 3080 is a 4k 60fps card, when cyberpunk and new next gen games come out, it won't be getting 90fps on those games in 4k with all the shyt turned on, it will be 60fps at best, the 3090 will be able to 4k 120fps in those games, that's not a huge increase on paper, but in reality it is, because if you want the best performance possible you have to get the 3090 or make concessions and turn down sittings with the 3080 or use fps
people are willing to buy to game at the highest fps possible without turning setting downs

you can cherry pick benchmarks that make the 1080ti on par with the 2080ti, which it is until you turn the resolution up to 4k and see a difference

Why even post, you don't know what you are talking about, a 10 percent increase will be the defense of playing on max settings at high frames rates and not consistently going forward, the price of the card is because of the extra VRAM

The titan card is 2500 right on Best Buy and gaming wise its the same performance as a 2080ti, so the 3090 is a chance to get a card used for computer that actually gives you an extra boost in performance for gaming, that's why its 1500

people saying they want to but the 3090 is because the 3080 is sold out and already selling for 1200, 1500, so they might as well just get a 3090 next week if you can

what don't understand, the 10 series cards blew away the ps4 and X Box, if you actually seen them in person you would understand what PC gaming market is the way it is, people can't go back to that low quality
