Of course the ATL
:patrice: Me and my two cousins been thinking about going in together on some property in some of those areas. Good look.

They're funded by the city and like @CashmereEsquire said they are THROWING money at people and are actually required to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on investments in impoverished areas of the city (the empowerment zone). I went to a few meeting a few years ago and plan to go back next yr, their offices are right outside Underground but if you have a legit idea for a business they will give you money to finance it. There are so many ways to get money in the city brehs and it's free to get with InvestAtlanta and get some financing

Are you willing to get an apartment for now? You can get a nice apartment in Buckhead or Midtown for $1000+ a month

Yeah I live in buckhead right now paying that. Could probably get a better place for what I'm paying though

My go-to first date option is the Starbucks on the corner of Broad st and Peachtree st downtown. A nikka goes to State and im cheap as hell. A small coffee is 2 bucks:yeshrug:

Only 3 blocks from my building and it hasn't failed me yet. In a couple years ill probably have to upgrade to actual restaurants. No more than 20 bucks for the both of us though:whoa:

AND you don't need to stack any bread, maybe a rack or two for stuff that comes up for closing but you don't have to put any money down. So literally cats can take a stack or two as long as you have decent credit cop a place and rent it out under the table to AUC/Tech/Ga state kids and profit 500-1k a month easy.

Breh you preachin :lawd:

Back when I first checked Invest out i wanted to build a green studio/clothing boutique on the Westside off of Cascade, then last summer fukkin around with that MollyWatr bullshyt I was gonna propose to them to build a bottling water plant off of Cascade (use Utoy Creek as the source of water or to power the plant). We could've secured financing from Invest plus open up the ATL & secondary southern markets within a few hours of here with product but that's neither here nor there.

Got some new ideas for 2015 doe :steviej:

I've never been ashamed to drop $20 on food/drinks on a first date. I prefer spots like the previously mentioned Tin Lizzys. But if you wanna keep it logical and frugal, AND still impress, just look into something free.

http://www.atltodo.com/ stays updated with events all around the city

Google Invest Atlanta. I had my girl email Tariq Nasheed about Atlanta, when he was talking about spots Blacks need to Centralize. Like I said City is literally throwing money at people to move to these old hoods, and Black folks on some "I`m not moving there thats the hood :scust:", While these white hipsters buying up everything. I remember I was looking at this nice crib in Ashview Heights and seen white dude jogging, and a white chick watering plants and come over to me and my agent like "you looking to move here? your gonna love it!" Urban Pioneering isn't easy, like I said there are def Junkies and burnt down homes/buildings but aint no kick doors going on unless you messing with illegal activity, and things like car break ins happen in any city just be smart and don't leave anything in plain site. I literally live in the heart of the city, and my mortgage is 1/3-1/4 of what people who live a few blocks away in midtown pay to RENT. I`m not trying to derail the thread, but this goes for all bruhs in here, if you don't plan on moving for the next 5-10 years, buy something before these white folks turn out the whole city and push all the blacks to crappy burbs like Douglassville and stuff.

bruh i don't know why more black folks don't move intown. I mean, i know why but it's just a better overall investment. I live in the East Atlanta area and i've watched prices go up and up over the past few years. You gotta jump on it early and peep the trends.
