And then a retired, 40yr old Aaron Rodgers comes out of retirement to play for NFL Europe.

Soccer will never be mainstream in America like the NFL or NBA. And this is coming from a big futebol fan. In order to compete with Europe and South America they would have to change the entire system here because it does not work. It’s dope there is a soccer culture in the ATL. And the US has improved however they are like 25 years behind Europe and 20 years behind South America.

College has NOTHING to do with sports. The more we try to force this unnatural marriage of academics and athletics the more we will end up with dumb scandalous shyt like the NCAA, 1 and done rule, 3 years removed rule, and shytty soccer players

If the NCAA were to allow young soccer players (17 and younger)to by pass college and go professional then you might as well say goodbye to college hoops because, them basketball player are going to be wanting the same thing which could cost the NCAA billions of dollars.

They started coming in like 96-97 (after the war they went through) from what I remember. Maybe earlier than that but I would have been too young to know at that point. Clarkston was/is a refugee hub so when ever there is a conflict you always see people from those areas there. When I was in HS thats when all the Iraq stuff was happening so I knew a good bit of people from there. Funny enough a few of em when folks would call them white they'd be like "hell naw I aint white I'm black" . I remember a few of them even stated a rap group called "Taliban"
