i asked you to address tangible belief systems. you cant do it

You asked a nonsense question and expected a rational answer.

the cac mamba said:
the funny thing is that we probably barely disagree. im open to a 'god' existing; my contention is that no human knows what it is, so christianity and islam are bullshyt. but you insist on caping for them

You still have no idea what I'm talking about even after I explained it to you thoroughly, gave links and everything, for YEARS.

You are open to 'G-d' existing, but don't know WTF you even mean by the term? That makes even less sense than anything else you've stated in this thread.
the cac mamba said:
however, you completely sidestepped my question. trash, smart/dumb posting

I didn't sidestep a thing. I asked you to define what you mean by 'G-d'. Once you do that I can answer your question.

Keep showing how irrational you are, though, by projecting and not considering your opponent's actual position.

to a muslim, the thought of jesus being god's son is illogical. but this dude @Dafunkdoc_Unlimited is just throwing it around like hes proving points :childplease:

That's why I can't stand labels. I name myself something, then, automatically, my thinking pattern has to fall in line or I'm not what I've labeled myself...

That line of thinking is so.... so....I don't want to disrespect those with beliefs like that, but it just isn't for me and my free way of thinking. I don't like hindering myself like that..

You're just mad that you don't understand theological noncognitivism and keep throwing terms at me like they are cognitively meaningful and coherent.

Why don't you know what you're asking me about?

how simply can i put this: can both christians and muslims be right about their interpretation of jesus at the same time? im asking objectively: i have no input on whats real and what isnt :russ:

Black people are religious since we were created, why would we just forget about that and change who we are?
No religion preach stealing, adultery, hate, etc.
If you actually reads the bible/quoran whatever book, you will see there's so many things you can learn and teach to ourselves in this fukked up society.

1) Who said you were religious since you were created? We evolved from microbes, and I've never seen an amoeba in church.
:mjlol:
2) If you actually read the bible/qu'ran you'll see that they both preach an insane amount of intolerance toward women. As well as just general terrible ideas such as, "stoning homosexuals," "letting a father sell his daughter into slavery," :ehh: a lot of these passages were quoted by white southerners to keep blacks down. If you read The Autobiography of Malcolm X, even he throws stones at religious institutions.
3) Religious folks are constantly updating their beliefs to try and one-up science.

The way it goes: 200 years ago "Where'd that tree come from" "God"
100 years later, "A seed"
Where'd the seed come from "God"
100 years later, "Evolution"
Where'd Evolution come from, "God"
:stopitslime:

God is just a placeholder for whatever thing science can't prove. It's a "you can never lose" argument, therefore, it's not an argument. Your guys' belief systems are basically y = x + 1. Where x is whatever the newest scientific discovery, religion just comes along and says "WELL GOD MADE THAT TOO" you contribute nothing to society, and in the long run, lots of people have died in the name of people like Jesus who claimed to raise from the dead (didn't) or Mohammed who claimed to go to Heaven on a horse (Horses can't fly, never happened).

Who would the real demon be? Some reasonable guy trying to further humanity's knowledge, or the guy telling you those people are sinners and that he can raise the dead and go to heaven on a horse?
:patrice:

Also, if you're religious and calling white people demons, you're a bad person and going to Hell. :beli:

The only folks that frequent the church are black people here in the UK, from what i see. The occasional time when you see the church is active, it's like a wedding is going on. Black people everywhere surrounding the church usually alongside that sole white man.

I live in the south, churches every 30 yards..... shyts embarrassing that many people are told what to think. Not saying you gotta be an a/thiest but if you belong to a congregation you don't practice free thinking you practice group think..... Just saying it shows a good amount about you.

IDK what their interpretations are. There are several billion of each. You'd have to ask each and every one of them.

No, not in politics but you and Sam Harris are equally inept at arguing against an opponent's actual position.
