Im on the same page with you
....People say religion is a tool used to control peoples minds, well why aren't black people smart enough to use it to help themselves and promote they agenda....Im speaking of black people who promote black empowerment, upliftment, unity, black economics....religion can be used to promote all of those things and the foundation is already set up for it.
You would rather prove how smart you are ACTING as if you know god doesn't exist
...and talk about how the white mans controlling minds with it it....When if people were really smart they would enter themselves into religion and use it to their own benefit and to control people for good
And lowkey the bible is one cold book, when you can open it up randomly and it gives you perfect advice for the EXACT situation you going through,i gotta say
...Rather you believe its real or not how could you hate
So far religion is often led by greedy, ego maniacs....if they were as sefless as the bible told them to be and actually cared about people the church would be a beautiful thing, and you would probaly gladly give up part of your check once you saw the progress being made.
But lets keep bumping our heads against a wall trying to unify black people all over again, even though the foundation/bluepring is already there in with religion.
"In a 1976 phone conversation with John Maher, Jones alternately stated that he was an
agnostic and an
atheist.
[41] Despite the Temple's fear that the
IRS was investigating its religious
tax exemption, Marceline Jones admitted in a 1977
New York Times interview that Jones was trying to promote
Marxism in the United States by mobilizing people through religion, citing
Mao Zedong as his inspiration.
[37] She stated that, "Jim used religion to try to get some people out of the opiate of religion," and had slammed the Bible on the table yelling "I've got to destroy this paper idol!"
[37] In one sermon, Jones said that, "You're gonna help yourself, or you'll get no help! There's only one hope of glory; that's within you! Nobody's gonna come out of the sky! There's no heaven up there! We'll have to make heaven down here!"

Obviously Jim Jones was a lunatic
,but imagine a perfectly sane individual using religion to mobilize and empower black people....weve seen it,but not on the scale it could be taken to with like minded people networking and egos put aside
...We need church insurgents asap if you ask me....Try thinking bigger than saying "fukk church" which helps nothing actually, other than giving yourself glory and feeding your ego like you have it all figured out....sound like a lot of these pastors to me,but at least they helping somebody
