Not top ten....somewhere in the 15-20 range. If that.

That's about where i'd rank him in a personal list, historically it's going to be hard to disinclude him in a top 10 list when it's all over if for no other reason than he's been the front runner of the company in most things that matter for a decade. Cats that lead their decade/generation typically end up in that top 10

Bruno, Andre, Flair, Hogan, Savage, HBK, Bret, Austin, Rock etc. .. if you go by the intangibles they have in common Cena is going to end up placed with em historically like him or not.

These threads are tough because they quickly get people to stating their opinions as if they're fact and it turns debate and dialogue into mini wars. Some cats value certain aspects more heavily over others with wrestlers. "ratings" never have meant shyt to me, I'm a promo/character driven cat. Can you make me buy into whatever it is your character is selling. It's about the ratings/merch/ in ring product to others and that's cool.

Don't get me wrong. I can't stand that :ppvbro: muthafukka but I won't downplay his historical standing

Are you trolling?:usure: when was the last time you been to a live event. Cena ALWAYS get the loudest pops

I'm talking about audible cheering during live broadcasts of RAW and PPVs. I can't recall Cena ever having the loudest cheers. He has the loudest boos a lot though.

The only law shows I've attended are Wrestlemania this year and the Raw afterwards. Undertaker and CM Punk had the loudest pop at WM. Ziggler had the loudest pop on the RAW followed by Ryback when he came in and destroyed Cena.

stone cold>>>>>>>>>>>>cena

What the hell did Austin ever do for the kids? How many make a wish events did he go to? Come on man and that's not even talking wrestling ability, Cena is way better in the ring then Austin. Promo wise it's close could go either way but I'll give a slight edge to Austin. Austin was always hurt out for long periods of a time when has Cena been hurt? He had a major injury and shows up next month at the Royal Rumble.

Off the top of my head, he's not even in their league. He's lazy, needs commentary to do promos for him, burys his peers which is why everything is boring week in and week out, is protected to no end, has the silliest comebacks you'll ever see, can't sell for shyt either physically or a moment during a promo, panders to audiences that hates him which makes absolutely no sense and is the definition of bytch made..just a very bad top pro wrestler. Now...people are used to his bullshyt at this site that they overhype his matches which involve a multitude of these things....you could never have a 5 star match if you no sell a RKO then two minutes later and slap on a fukking STF as if you no sold it like old school Taker or Goldberg from 98. Beyond stupid. Silly. Child like. Boring. Just the worst kind of wrestling known to man in 2013. The shyt at Summerslam 2010 is about as goofy as you'll see in the 2000s..DDT'd on the concrete and wins like 50 seconds later by eliminating two guys back to back. Absurd. Where's that GIF of him running in the ring at the 9 count and then falling right back down? That's a John Cena. The reason the wrestling business is in a runt and why Part Timers need to be used in the first place.

Yea sting one of my favorites BUT Cena carrying the WWE on his back and headlining WM after WM after WM, the make a wish grind, 13 time champ :ld:

Not to deny Cena's work, but are you implying that Sting wasn't carrying WCW for damn near a decade himself? :upsetfavre:

Road Warriors were huge in the 80s in every promotion they went, so it's not much of stretch there.

Huge as a tag team........a few other names on the list made me laugh but i stopped right there
