At Least 8 Dead at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival After Stampede

My youngest son is a Travis Scott Fan, the Man Cub is in 4th grade who got Me listening to Travis Scott, That being said Travis Scott is not getting no play in my household and my son is not allowed to listen to him and I'm going to sit my son down and tell him why and how Travis Scott is careless.

I have built those barricades at least twice this year once at the blue ridge Rock Festival another at the Firefly Fest. I was told the pandemic caused new procedures and the barricade system and placement this year was a hassle figuring out.

• Travis been asking for Chaos since Owl pharaoh

I hate these conspiracies too because they absolve real people of real responsibilities, and they make situations like this more likely to happen in the future. When the responsibility is placed onto people for making bad decisions, future tragedies can be avoided. When people shrug their shoulders and say it was the devil or something stupid like that, then it lets people off the hook and doesn't address the real problems that can be fixed.

I really think a lot of people flock to conspiracies because they're comforting. It's always more comforting if something terrible happened because of a master plan or because of supernatural fate. It's scary to think that life is random and chaotic enough for so many people to needlessly die at what's supposed to be a fun event. Conspiracy theories about master plans give people some comfort in a weird way that there's more control over their lives than there really is.

I always say about the 9/11 thing. What's actually scarier? The idea that 9/11 was an inside job, or that a dozen crazy people with boxcutters could end 3,000 lives and change the course of human history in 2 hours? I think the latter is way scarier.

I would assume that if someone tries to sue that wasn't supposed to be there in the first place nor had a ticket would lose all grounds for a lawsuit and might even be thrown in the lawsuit as well as a deterrence.

The more videos I see about this makes me think Travis isn’t the main one to blame. He will catch all the blame but so many issues with the crowd and concert set up and lack of security etc....

At a certain density most of them had no control over their movement, mobility.. their feet most likely weren’t touching the floor and they were imprisoned wishing dozens of bodies per square foot, where breathing is nearly impossible.. at that size fear and panic no matter the behavior as bodies are crushed against each other in all directions from the collective flow of 50k in a barricaded area that comstricts as more ppl pour in from the outside caused the brunt of all the tragedy.

That question is mentioned in the FAQ section on the AstroWorld website, so therefore the optics of whether or not the kid should have been there doesn't matter. That one question makes Travis Scott liable for whatever injuries that kid incurred.
