Nope.. Live Nation is responsible, as well as Travis Scott and his management since they Co-produced the show.

Even if they dont win against Travis, its gonna cost him millions to defend all these lawsuits.
As long as the venue/producers met the fire and safety requirements, there is no criminal liability. Only civil. And that’s just settlements to make the bad optics go away, not real liability. Insurance will cover most of that. No personal liability.

it was advertised as all ages and a carnival.
But still why would you bring your 9-yr old to that festival when you know how they get down at all festivals his specifically. That whole mosh pit rodeo has always been shown heavily at all his live performances. Plus you know people are high/drunk. It's just bad parenting all around to bring your kid to that. It's a reason why I say everyone doesn't deserve to be a parent:yeshrug:

That’s not even a close comparison breh :laff:

Y’all dudes are trying wayyy too hard.
Sure it is. They both make adult content that isnt to be so consumed by minors. It’s not even legal to be consumed by minors. I don’t award stupidity with empathy. Kid should have no clue who Travis Scott is other than a Fortnite character and McDonald’s mascot. Failures as parents led to this kid being somewhere he shouldn’t have been. It’s no one’s fault but their own. Just like everyone else there.

It's absolutely on the parent. My brother has gone to a number of his shows from Webster Hall to Madison Square Garden. You do not want to be on the floor. No nine year old should be at a music festival.

If there is no age restriction I can’t see how it would be on the parent to know that a fricking concert could become a death trap.

Teanna Trump isn't marketing her products and services to minors breh. That's the main difference in the comparison that you're trying to use :laff:

A minor is also not stepping foot even close to a Teanna Trump Q&A for obvious reasons and you're bugging if you sit here and insist otherwise.

The venue that hosted Astroworld only had $26 million dollars worth of insurance, so Travis and Live Nation better hope that their insurance covers the rest (it's more than likely not). Someone is going to be on the hook for the remaining balance for whatever insurance doesn't cover judging by the sheer number of lawsuits that's incoming from this situation.

Majority of Fortnite users are over 18. Being promoted on Fortnite doesn’t mean you’re marketed to children. Him having a brand deal with McDonald’s isn’t being marketed to children either unless his shyt comes with a toy or akin to a happy meal (does it? I really don’t know)

Look at that lineup. Not a single artist I see has music that isn’t rated as “Explicit” and not even fit to be consumed by a 9yr old. I only say that to say if your 9yr knows who Travis Scott and Lil Baby and 21 Savage is, you lost as a parent. Especially if you letting that 9yr old go to music festivals for these people.

Who takes a nine year old to a rap concert? Travis Scott's lyrics contains references to drugs and sex. Is that appropriate for a child? Come on.

I’m not talking about the questionable lyrics and music of the artist. I’m talking about going to an event that literally puts your child in physical harm’s way.

A nine year old shouldn’t go to see a Rated R movie either, BUT he shouldn’t be in physical danger for doing so.

I was talking to my barber about this earlier!! It's always someone else fault in this day and age. Everyone can point the finger at everyone else but themselves for the decisions they choose to make. That's why we so messed up now people can't just stand on their decisions good or bad because that will hurt their feelings and we know that's the ultimate sin now..

A Rated R movie in a controlled environment is not the same as an open field setting with 50K people with a number of uncontrollables. Fights, sex, drugs, medical situations. These are all happening in that crowd.

So what :mjlol:

There was no age limit on those tickets to the festival so anyone could go. If you have a problem with that, then blame Travis and his camp for not putting an age limit on attendance. What you're trying to argue will mean nothing in the courts and civil suits, so it's useless that it's even in the topic of discussion as it doesn't matter.
