Anyone saying different is insane imo. Lol

Dudes keep mentioning how one party is more culpable than the other for what happened like that's going make a difference and prevent them from being included in the lawsuit lol. The one party who has the best chance of getting out of the lawsuit in the end is Drake, but everyone else is going to held liable for what transpired.

Basically at the bolded. It was Travis’ festival. Whatever happens there. He’s partly responsible.

The venue is the one responsible

I dont know why these dummies are suing Travis

They won't win, live nation is the one that will be held accountable

Plus the venue has insurance
how is it not his fault? this makes 0 sense and he should be accountable for this stuff. As well as the venue and live nation.

WAAAIT A fukkING MINUTE, there was a fukking 9 year old at the concert? :stopitslime: the parents should be facing jail time instead of suing.
Kids are always at places they SHOULDN’T be but I don’t know if this was an adult only event. Man I used to cringe when I saw little kids out at protests marches but I wasn’t too mad. I just found myself wanting the parents to get the kids out of there when shyt got out of control. I mean you shouldn’t take a 9 year old to something like this but it’s not against the law or anything

Im a Travis Scott fan musically but I went to his show in Dallas at the AAC and Im surprised he didn't get sued then. I was in the stands. They had two separate on opposite sides. He would pop up from stage to stage. So when he pop up on one stage the crowd on the floor standing only area would haul azz to that stage. You could see people falling getting trampled. Then the moshpits was fukking crazy. Its the most random mixture of in these moshpits. A lot black boys and men arent use to that type of concert. We dont really moshpit. So you see nikkas out there throwing hands. Shyt was wild.

FBI joins investigation on deadly incident at Astroworld Festival

HOUSTON – A criminal investigation is underway after the tragedy at the Astroworld Festival that left eight people dead and hundreds injured.

Multiple lawsuits have been filed claiming Travis Scott and the other organizers put profits over safety.

Not only are the civil suits mounting in this case, the criminal investigation has expanded. The criminal investigation now not only involves Harris County and the City of Houston, but it also includes the FBI.

“We’re working to figure out which entity can do that investigation, because there’s so many different players,” Judge Lina Hidalgo said.

8 people killed, hundreds more injured at the event
Accountability is now a major part of the focus with not just investigations at the local level in Houston and Harris County, but now the feds have stepped into the picture.

KPRC 2 Legal Analyst Brian Wice says FBI agents likely were invited into this criminal investigation because of resources they can provide. He said it is similar to when the FBI was brought in to aid in the Santa Fe High School shooting in 2018, when a gunman killed 10 people.

Hidalgo, who attended a vigil near NRG Park Monday evening, said the deaths and the presence of drugs helped lead to the criminal investigation. Wice says the search for accountability will be thorough.

“There are eight promising young people who aren’t at home tonight with their friends and loved ones, and as a result of their untimely, tragic and probably preventable deaths, that situation is probably enough to initiate a criminal investigation to determine whether or not their deaths were something more than simple negligence,” Wice said.

Judge Hidalgo added that what makes this investigation complex is that you have several agencies, including Harris County and the Houston Fire Department, who were present Friday night, as well as a private medical group, promoters, producers, and Travis Scott himself, who will all be under the microscope in this investigation

:picard: got the feds involved

He's not holding another festival after this. Might do smaller venues, but his name is going to be toxic in the near term. Needs to lay low.
